About 1 year ago my good friend @maxtabakin convinced me to buy an FPV drone to help him with his creative journey. At the start I had no idea what I was doing. Filming in the wrong aspect ratio, not using ReelSteady, I didn’t even know what drone rates were. I just wanted to get cool footage and try out a new hobby.

2 months into me having the drone, it short circuited into the Utah Salt Flats and it was totaled. At this moment I felt defeated. I didn’t have enough money to buy a new one, I didn’t feel like I was anywhere near good enough to get any useable footage, and I thought my journey in the FPV world was over. I had given up

Everything changed when a few months later he texted me asking if I wanted to help him on a travel shoot in Bali. I knew this was my chance to give FPV one more shot. I dumped whatever money I had into buying a new drone and did as much research, learning, and practicing as I could.

Long story short, this trip changed the trajectory of my life. It’s only been 1 year (4 months of actually flying), but I can’t wait to see the new heights that FPV can take me.

These are just a few moments from the past year :)
