Sometimes I like to step out from behind the lens for a minute. A lot of what I share is food, campfires, trucks, good people, good times and highlights. The things that make life feel full. But the truth is, like everyone else there’s a whole lot in between those moments that you don’t always see.I spend a lot of time documenting life, but every now and then I remind myself that I’m living it too. I’m human. I feel things deeply. I carry memories, losses, lessons, and the same quiet battles that a lot of people do. Check in on your people. Seriously. You never know what someone might be going through, what they’ve lost, or what they’re trying to carry quietly. Sometimes the smallest gesture a message, a call, a “you crossed my mind” can mean more than you realize.None of us are perfect. But every single one of us has the ability to make someone’s day a little lighter just by taking a few seconds out of our busy lives. We only get one life. One run at this thing. So I try to remind myself to be present. Be kind. Show up for the people I care about.
