This is a small write up I did of 3rd June rain, translating that excitement right afterwards onto paper. by @aneat14by8inch

3rd June, first rains.

Before streets started flooding and trees started falling, my naive self saw the first shower out of my window, and got so excited I made a little simple video out of it. by @aneat14by8inch

The flashes of people under the dropping sun, shadows among crowds in the afternoon, another coincidental shot

Frames which made me stop and go, you know what.. that should be in a ghibli movie,
The one where we explore the town and their people with their cats,
The moment when the characters takes a breath and reconsiders, by @aneat14by8inch

Creative endeavours and Hushed Reveals

An irregular routine of my nani and me unveiling recent works, glimpsing through the needle into the gaps of patterned thread
Her pride gleaming in her voice recounting the measures she took, speed of her hands and preserved time.
Her excitement translates onto these photos, an earnest moment shared under the sun with a warm yellow Dhoklas and soft smiles

In the slow mornings, as you read, or do your daily routine, and your eyes stray to the window
The light tipping in, in slivers and holes,
Through the redness of curtains bleeding onto your hands,
Tracing the words of your recent book,
Catching on a brass figurine and tangle of leaves,
Placing itself silently on the slopes of your shoulder,
Stretching faintly through you, the world,
Into light shadows

Then you take a breath, smile and get back to your day, with sunlight imprinted on your skin.

Music has romanticised us all,
The only thing making me go to college in all my sleepiness,
Put on a track and you’re not just waking to college, it’s a video, a scene from a movie,
Things appear vivid, people seem fascinating,
It’s the same road, with the same trees,
But each day you put on a new tune, and they change in a small way,
This is what makes me look around everyday, hoping to see something i haven’t before

This will probably be a continued series, all of things that struck me. by @aneat14by8inch

And sometimes i stand, in wonder, in awe, of the world around me
The colours of nature melding together,
Fallen flowers,
Shadow of leaves on water
