WRT Skateboard Park Men’s Champion 2026: João Henrique Marsa Costa (BRA) 🇧🇷

Saturday morning, first contest of the Finals, and the Brazilian set the tone for the whole weekend: frontside 5-0, backside nosepick, kickflip, all with the same flow. Ian Rengel pushed him hard with a backside 360, but the top step was already taken.

Golden Ticket for the World Rookie Tour 2027 and a Mystic Sk8 Cup wildcard. Brazil came to Celje for this.

@ettotrink Dj / turntablist and Beatmaker based in Lecce (Italy). Active since 1991, Etto Trink can be considered one of the pioneers of Italian turntablism (Although still today he remains in the underground scene).

Back when Hip Hop was built from the streets, vinyl and sweat.
When beats were made by hand and real support meant everything.

This photo tells a story that goes far beyond a single trick.

@gianni_zattoni with a Nolie over the second pyramid at the Reggio Emilia skatepark, built from the original pyramid purchased after the historic closure of Roxy Rings in Bussolengo during the 1994 skateboarding downturn, then rebuilt at three times its original size. For many of us, this photo represents an entire era.

Gianni never chased the spotlight. He always chose a simple, humble life and treated everyone with respect. But the moment he stepped on his board, everything changed. To us, he was simply on another level. His style was unmistakable, his bag of tricks seemed endless, and he made the impossible look effortless.

Whenever Gianni showed up at the skatepark, we all knew the show was about to begin.

Two weeks ago, I had the chance to watch him ride again on the big halfpipe at @mariannaskatepark , built, run and kept alive by his family. It was a deeply emotional moment. We have so much love and respect for the Zattoni family, and for Giorgio.

Time passes, but the respect and admiration for people like Gianni never fade. @matiastainecorrea came all the way from Buenos Aires. We first got to know him through @surferserrano, who brought him over to Italy the following year. From that moment on, he became much more than an Aneema rider—he became a true friend and someone who left a lasting mark on all of us.

That day, an old school desk left abandoned in a parking lot turned into a spot. Something everyone else would have ignored became a symbol of freedom, style, and creativity. With this improvised trick, Matías blew everyone's minds, reminding us that skateboarding isn't just about technique—it's about imagination, vision, and seeing possibilities where nobody else does.

That's the magic of a skateboard: turning the ordinary into something unforgettable.
