Las despedidas más difíciles son aquellas en las que ni siquiera puedes decir adiós.

“𝙁𝘼𝙍𝙀𝙒𝙀𝙇𝙇.” explora el arco emocional de dos personas ante un suicidio: aquella que se va y aquella que se queda. Seguimos a Sergio, una persona que decide terminar su vida, y a su mejor amigo, Adolfo, quien lo encuentra poco después.

Esta historia, basada en hechos reales, explora el camino que ambas partes siguen para poder llegar a la aceptación.

Incluso después de las tormentas más fuertes, siempre sale el sol. ☀️

“𝙁𝘼𝙍𝙀𝙒𝙀𝙇𝙇.” es un cortometraje de titulación de animación 2D desarrollado por alumnxs de @escuelaescena desde 2024 a 2025.

Shorts Mexico fue una experiencia preciosa e inolvidable para nosotrxs: pudimos conocer a personas y proyectos increíbles, vivir nuestro proyecto en la pantalla grande y continuar compartiendo Farewell con más corazones 🍃

🇲🇽🎬 Farewell. llega al Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia.

El cortometraje mexicano de animación 2D, dirigido por Ximena Álvarez Portilla y producido por Rodrigo Camargo Hernández, continúa su recorrido por festivales con su selección oficial en el FICM 2026.

Sin diálogos y 6:45 minutos de animación, Farewell. aborda el duelo después de una muerte.

La historia nació de experiencias profundamente personales de su directora y fue concebida como una carta de amor para quienes se fueron, pero también para quienes permanecen intentando comprender y aceptar una pérdida.

Después de formar parte de festivales como LALIFF, Shorts México, Chilemonos y Animayo, Farewell. continúa ahora su recorrido en México.
