🇬🇷 Greece in September is always a good idea.

Fewer people, beautiful weather and that feeling that summer just doesn’t want to end. ☀️

Greece was our very first trip together back in 2016. Since then, we’ve returned again and again — always discovering a different place, a different island, a new little corner of Greece.

But somehow, Greece has become a part of our story. 🤍

For us, it means carefree days by the sea, swimming until sunset, throwing stones into the water, riding around on a motorbike, discovering hidden places and, of course, eating way too much good food. 🍋🫒

🇬🇷 SKOPELOS — Mamma Mia edition 💙

A little guide for anyone who wants to extend summer a little longer. Save this for later ☀️

✈️ Fly from Prague to Skiathos for around **3,800 CZK / €150 return**, including checked luggage.
From Skiathos, take the ferry to Skopelos — a smaller, quieter island with the most beautiful atmosphere and serious Mamma Mia vibes.

🏡 We stayed at Ageri Studios, booked through Booking.
Around 10,000 CZK / €400 for 2 people / 7 nights, with a pool and a great location close to the centre and some of the island’s most famous beaches.

🛵 Rent a scooter, €18/day. The easiest and probably the most fun way to get around. You can explore the whole island at your own pace and stop whenever you spot a beautiful little beach or viewpoint.

🏖️ Fav places: Amarandos Cape, Hovolo Beach, Gabris Beach

🌅 DON’T MISS A SINGLE SUNSET
And if you only pick one place to watch it, make it Amarandos Cape.
The colours, the sea and the whole atmosphere make it one of the most beautiful sunset spots on the island. 💙

⛵ Rent a boat.
One of our favourite things to do.
Spend the day on the water, find your own little cove, swim, have some snacks and make it a romantic date. 🤍

🥧 Don’t leave without trying Skopelos cheese pie— crispy pastry filled with feta. Simple, traditional and delicious.

🌅 If your flight is from Skiathos, keep some time for the town before heading home. Wander through the narrow streets, grab a coffee and get lost among the whitewashed houses.

Over the years, we’ve been lucky enough to visit Zakynthos, Rhodes, Kefalonia & Lefkada, and each island has its own charm. But if we had to choose just one, Lefkada would always be our favorite. 💙

The recipe for the perfect gateaway?
✈️ Prague → Bristol for around CZK 2,500 with Ryanair.
📅 Leave Friday evening. Be back Tuesday evening.
Here’s your 4-day escape:
🏨 Night 1: Stay next to Bristol train station (📍Bristol express Inn)
🚆 Day 2: Train to Swansea. Stock up on snacks at Tesco Express, then catch the bus to Rhossili Bay.
🏡 Check into a cozy countryside stay with ocean views, direct access to coastal trails, and nothing but nature around you (📍The Slope, Middleton)
🌊 Spend the afternoon exploring Rhossili Bay—golden beaches, dramatic cliffs, endless green hills, and some of the most beautiful coastal views in Wales.
🥾 Day 3: Hike to Worm’s Head. Don’t forget to check the tide times before you go—you can only cross safely at low tide.
🌿 Day 4: Walk the quieter coastal trail towards Port Eynon. Fewer people, different views, and the perfect way to end the trip.
🚍 Head back to Swansea, then either explore the charming town of Chepstow or spend your last hours wandering around vibrant Bristol before flying home.
