First time seeing @annie.keating and her band live. Wow. What a show! Brilliant evening at @otleycourthouse Most artists are happy to just stand front and centre, but Annie was a firecracker and all over that stage... And sometimes off it 😂 When she and @joecoombsguitarist ended up on their knees in a guitar battle I was so glad I got this shot! 😍 The band consisted of the fabulous @joecoombsguitarist, @scottwarmanbass & @jamiedawsondrums 👏👏👏 taken in Otley Courthouse by @anewiss

Sometimes the music just connects. Tuesday night's gig in Manchester was one of those for so many reasons. My childhood memories of Liberian women in a circle, pounding cassava and singing songs filled my heart with joy when @niweltsumbuguitar's smile lit up the room and his DRC musical roots had me grinning from ear to ear. And then the hurt and sadness hit when I saw the look in @rhiannongiddens eyes. I wasn't there to take photos, I was there to enjoy the show. But, as @gretchenpeters can testify, I can never not take THAT shot. For some reason, this one hit me hard 🥺 Glad Darren Crisp was there for a hug afterwards ❤️ @eamonncagney @ibassnote @countrygentlemancooks @alberthallmcr taken in Albert Hall by @anewiss

Going through the "maybe" pile of images and this one stood out. Anyone who's seen Jonny Morgan & The Moral Support will know how high energy the whole band is. So catching @jonnymorganmusic in a brief quiet moment was magical ✨ @thelongroadfest #thelongroadfestival #tlr2026 taken in The Long Road by @anewiss

Where do I start to describe @lizzie.no? The moment I saw the harp on the flight case I knew this was something special and I could only imagine the nightmare of tuning that thing if it went out of whack mid set! A 6 string is bad enough, but 24?! Yikes. Lyrically and vocally, I was blown away - but more than that, and there are only a few people I ever say this of, I couldn't stop taking her photo. The looks, the stage presence, the attitude, and then the biggest, warmest smile ever. Absolutely captivating. And a really gorgeous human being as well ❤️ @thelongroadfest #thelongroadfestival #tlr2026 taken in The Long Road by @anewiss

When the absolute firecracker @hayleyjensen took to the Front Porch I'm not sure the pro photographers were ready for the workout trying to keep up with this woman! She sang, danced, hung off the porch and was just phenomenal 🔥🔥🔥 I don't know how @michellefredericks_photography got so many fabulous shots AND video! I was exhausted 🤣 This shot was a happy accident. My camera just couldn't focus, get the lighting right and just beeped in pain🤦 but I kinda like this one 😍 @thelongroadfest #thelongroadfestival #tlr2026 taken in The Long Road by @anewiss

One of the joys of the Front Porch stage is being able to be close to the artists as they prepare for their set. And you get to see "behind the curtain" at their gear. Mia's Wazinator stomp board reminded me of @plynnehanson and her porch board ❤️ It was great to have @miakkelly appear twice and these shots are from the magical evening slot 🙌🙌🙌 Everyone else posted the performance photos, so I've gone rogue with soundcheck 🤣 @thelongroadfest #thelongroadfestival #tlr2026 taken in The Long Road by @anewiss
