I’ve wanted to do this version of Angeles for a long time now. Finally got up the nerve and did it. I may sing the wrong words in certain places but it’s the version I always heard in my head and envisioned doing. Very excited about it. Hope y’all like it!

Welcome to the HOME studio - where I still have the original new TMNT designs and model sheets for LAST RONIN LOST YEARS & LOST DAY hanging on the wall… as I do…
-
I don’t do a lot of work at home - but as fate would have it our 1st daughter, Rita was coming into this world at the very same time as these new 4 heroes in a half shell were ready to make their debut - so wanting to be home with her and my wife, I actually did design the new turtles (and draw my 25 Last Ronin Lost Day pages - my biggest chunk of pages of any LR issue) at HOME, rather than at the STUDIO studio… It was challenging, amazing, stressful, and one of the most unbelievable moments of time in my life that I’ll never forget - it’s also responsible for my current and latest way of roughing pages (check out the LOST DAY roughs in the last video) - 5 or 6 pages at a time, in one document, with the script right off to the side on the very same doc. It’s a massive time saver, and really helpful to see all the pages at once. You should try it. ✍🏼

You can see more of my process on my YOUTUBE (link in my bio)
