My personal style Journal 📓
These are bits and bobs from my week. Still finding my groove, owning what I bring to the table, trying to always show respect, integrity and kindness to others is my main goal in life…..but walking away if it’s not reciprocated, that’s been a process let me tell you. Social media is just a small part of what I do for work and I own that now. I’m still learning and I’ve had wake up calls and lots of interesting interactions. Putting yourself out there isn’t easy and I don’t do it with complete confidence I do it with courage and determination to share what I know and what I do well and the knowledge and expertise I bring. If I can encourage other woman to do so that’s amazing. Either explore their style, try something new step out of their comfort zone or back themselves. I don’t tend to share too much personally but here’s some pics to share a bit more of me and the things I love and maybe you might resonate with things. Find a product you love, relate to my insights or just feel a little more seen as a mature woman. It’s a noisy space here and I’m not under any false illusion that anyone truly gives a shit or waiting for me to post but I appreciate the follows and the comments. Let’s be real though this app could collapse in a heartbeat and it’s what’s going on around you and within yourself is what’s truly most important. You won’t catch me over sharing or baring all but mind you I’ve toyed with the idea to see if my feet could gain traction on an only fans foot fetish account 🤣seriously though I think there is some good money to be made 😜. I’m definitely not an influencer I’m just a normal woman navigating change and making decisions to better myself and at the same time hoping I create even the slightest little ripple to inspire others to do so as well. Creating simple, carefree but thoughtful looks in the @leisuresshoeboutique Darcy slide and Ivy Bag in vintage tan. It’s so nice to have comfort and style all in one. I’m not sure about you but lately my feet ache more and more. Is that just another midlife sign!?!? Bloody hell there’s so many symptoms we have to work through girls apparently there are around 100 varying symptoms of peri/ menopause 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ anyway blah blah.
Leisure’s always release beautiful new styles for your comfort from work to play and holiday ☀️ 🌊
And just in case you’re curious to know about the skirt, as I often get compliments when I wear it. It is from my personal collection I designed and produced about 9 years ago now…. Geez that’s scary. It’s still going though, I still wear it and love it. Maybe there are a handful of you out there that still have yours 🤣
I created a 10 piece capsule collection for ladies over 40 to enjoy back in 2017-2020. Always a treat here for us! 🏔️ food and wine 👌🏼 and of course @smiley_spurs fashion moments 🙊 any excuse for some winter fashion. Popped into one of my favourite stores @_angeldivine also in Bowral @ascotsbowral and my @lovecaracashmere pieces have come in very handy. Lots of new exploring and hiking. Off to Clyde today @montechristowinery which will be very beautiful. Love for you to add one of your favourite things to do here in QT.

Don’t overthink it!!! Famous last words for a woman.
I’ve been “thinking” about what it means to feel good within yourself, When it comes to style and confidence especially when you’re over 50. Many women become more confident within themselves and their style after 40 because they dress with confidence and purpose rather than following every trend. There’s no fixed rule about style and body shapes. Here’s my advice as a style mentor for woman over 45 - Be careful with your selections, be true to yourself, be inspired by people places and purposes that resonate with you and you only. I’m styling some beautiful items in this edit by @une_piece and like everybody I struggle sometimes with my style and definitely have my off days. I will always go back to easy comfortable pieces that lift my mood, make me feel comfortable plus a style formula I know works. This one is classic and works for everybody!!
Style notes for you: I’m 164cm I’m wearing 8’s in the clothing and 10 in the swimsuit. My bust is C cup but no matter what shape you are this swimsuit gives you brilliant oommpphhfff and lift but holds you firm 😜. Feel free to ask me anything about the shapes, fit etc
