Delta, oh Delta…❤️

To the HARDWORKING Kappa Epsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.,
I could not have been more sure that this is what I wanted, and every single day I am confirmed in my decision. There is something so divine about finally arriving at the place your heart has been searching for all along. Somehow, every step I took, every challenge I faced, every long night and unanswered prayer led me straight here. In the little time I’ve had within this chapter, I have grown in ways I never could’ve imagined. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to stand in this illustrious sisterhood. Thank you for constantly reminding me that I belong here. Though my time here felt far too short, KE will always be home. The work is far from over, and I hope every step I take from here makes you proud.

To S.H.I.F.T.,
You are the best big sisters I could have ever asked for. Your love has carried me more than you know, a love that will live within me forever. Thank you for helping me grow into the woman and soror I strive to be. To be loved by you all is truly one of the greatest gifts this journey has given me.

To E.M.B.E.R.,
My sisters <3 I would do this all a thousand times over if it meant finding you all again. Through every laugh, every moment spent together, our love only grows deeper. You all have become such an important part of me. Our bond is one that distance could never weaken and time could never erase. Though I may be leaving, EMBER goes wherever I go. I carry each one of you with me in every room I enter, in every achievement I accomplish, and in every season of my life. My 46 sisters mean everything to me, and if I could ever truly find the words to describe how special each of you are, I’d never stop writing.

The best and easiest decision I ever made

On May 1st I will graduate from Florida State University with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology as a first-generation college student. Thank you GOD!

FSU has given me the best 4 years of my life, the best people, the best memories, and now the saddest goodbye. I love this place and everything about it. I would count every single brick on campus before even thinking twice about anywhere else. I wouldn’t trade my time here for anything, and I’d live these years a thousand times over if I could. My forever home❤️

Mom and Dad, this moment is just as much yours as it is mine. Everything I’ve accomplished here, every moment I’ve been blessed to cherish, every smile I’ve smiled is all because of you. Thank you for giving me the best gifts in the world: love, support, and an education that no one can ever take from me. I owe it all to you!
