North District,
What a privilege it has been to serve you. After four years in FFA, this final year as an officer has meant more to me than I can fully put into words. What started as a team of strangers quickly became the people who filled my life with purpose, laughter, and belonging.

FFA has always been about community, but this year, I truly lived that. The blue jacket came to mean more than leadership or agriculture; it came to represent the people who changed me. Through early mornings, long practices, chapter visits, karaoke session in the car, and the small moments in between, I found a family I never expected but will always cherish.

FFA didn’t just shape my skills. It shaped me. It turned an anxious 7th grader into someone confident enough to lead, and it gave me friendships and lessons that will last far beyond this year.

To Ms. Holmes, Mason, Callie, Audrey, Missy, Jonah, and Blaine, thank you for becoming my home, my inspiration, and my reason to grow. I am endlessly grateful for each of you.
Serving you has been both bittersweet and beautiful, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I will always carry my FFA family with me wherever I go. 💙💛🌽

98th Alabama FFA State Convention 💙💛🌽

And just like that, my time in FFA is over.
After wearing a jacket that carried me over 1,000 miles, introduced me to hundreds of friends, survived countless pre-session dance parties, and even a rear-ending, it’s finally time to hang it up.

This is such a surreal moment, one I definitely wasn’t ready for. For the past five years, this jacket has been my foundation, my comfort zone, and my place for growth. If I could say one thing about it, it would be this: it changed my life.
Through every speech, contest, lesson, and friendship, this jacket was there. If I had to name one thing that almost stopped me from graduating early, it would be FFA. I wasn’t ready to leave it behind.

The things I learned, the laughs I shared, and the experiences I had became the building blocks that shaped me into the person I am today. Even now, I don’t think I’ve fully processed that it’s really over.

But more than anything, this jacket taught me to take the leap. Say yes to the opportunity. Join the activity. Meet new people. Learn something new. You never know what one yes can do for your life.
Through this organization, I found lifelong friends and became someone I can truly be proud of. I would not be the person I am today without FFA.
As I officially retire this jacket and step away from this amazing organization, I know the lessons, memories, and friendships will never leave me.

I also want to thank my advisors, Ms. Atwood and Mr. Ball. Through every long conversation, every moment of doubt, and every time I convinced myself I wasn’t “good enough,” they were there.
Lord knows I love to chatter, and somehow they always listened. Their patience, encouragement, and belief in me helped shape me into who I am today.

Thank you, Ms. Atwood and Mr. Ball. I hope one day I can make even half the impact on someone’s life that you and this organization have made on mine.

FFA, thank you for everything. I will forever be grateful.
