PR WEEK 2: SEND RELIEF!!!
This week was so different from the first but was so much fun!!! We got to work on two ladies houses and they were so kind and sweet! They would give us food and hangout with us!! It was so much physically but so so worth it!! We also got to paint an entire upstairs of a church in the last day. I was so tired and wanted to give up but to see the pastors face when we finished was so so worth it!! It was his birthday and he was so shocked and thankful that we got it all done.

PUERTO RICO!!!
This trip was so powerful. Serving the Lord is so amazing. I’ve always said I was called to do missions but never had a certain place in mind. So coming to PR I had no clue the impact it would have on me. The people there are so kind and loving, even when they had little to give they gave full heartedly and cheerfully. The first week we were there we stayed at a church, we did little projects and went out and invited families to VBS and got to pray over people! I was on a team that went to a apartment complex and we had only 2 people that could speak a little spanish. We struggled with getting in, communication, finding people and honestly, I was losing hope. We went up to one door and knocked twice with no answer. We could hear people inside so I wanted to give up. Just then my friend knocked once more and the door opened. This lady opened the door hesitantly and we asked her if she had any kids and told her about the VBS. She said she had 3 kids and asked if she could go to and we said yes!!! She signed up right then and there. We had some logistics to figure out but we all knew in that moment we would do anything to get her and her kids there! I felt the Holy Spirit in that moment and knew that there was something special about them and that I could connect with them on a deeper level because of my testimony. All day Sunday I couldn’t stop thinking about them, I was praying it would all work out and they would actually show up, then on Monday all 4 of them showed up! Zarrah and I were assigned to the twins (they were 2 so they were very busy haha) The day went by and the kids LOVED us!! I’ve worked with kids for 6 years and these kids attached so so fast compared to most! Even with the language barrier we got to connect with the mom that day too. That day the oldest daughter gave her life to Christ!!! 🌟Cont. in comments! by @angel_langdon_
