I’m SO happy to say that I passed the NCLEX and am officially a Registered Nurse!🩺 Absolutely SURREAL

I’m also grateful to share that I’ve accepted a position at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston as a Neonatal ICU nurse in the world’s largest Medical Center!👶🏼🍼 Is life even real ??? This has been my DREAM job for as long as I can remember, and I can’t wait to take care of these precious little babies :,)

To dad: I began nursing school six months after we lost you, and it was hard to comprehend going through this journey without you physically being here. When I moved to Galveston for school, your heart pillow was one of the first things I packed. Please know that I dedicated this journey to your memory, honor, and love. I miss you so much, but I’m so joyous knowing that I shared my dream nursing job with you before you left, and now I’ve achieved that goal. I thank you eternally for the love and support you showed me while you were still here. You will forever be in my heart. I love you🫀❤️‍🔥

On Monday I graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree 🤩

I’m so incredibly thankful for this journey and I could not have done it without these amazing people cheering me on every step of the way 🧡🤍
