This has been such an honour to be a part of. Over the last month, students of the Langley Fine Arts School Drama Ensemble stepped out of their comfort zones to learn sword fighting fundamentals for their upcoming performance “She Kills Monsters”. It was an intense learning curve, but they went from learning basics, to learning to choreograph their own fights.
A 🌟HUGE shout out🌟 to @blackflag_group @rykelcrzo @mig.buenacruz @jesse.vlahovic @hoger.abbas & @evolvematkd for donating their time to these students. There couldn’t have been a better team for this group. Thank you for taking the time to give back to the young performers in the community around us - deeply grateful and inspiring to see. Can’t wait to see the end product! Keep an eye out for “She Kills Monsters” at the Langley Fine Arts School March 2024!! by @angelaustunts

Who would have thought I would get to be a 🏴‍☠️ pirate 🏴‍☠️ EVER?! Huge gratitude to @barnhand & team for having myself and all of these crusty pirates and doubles aboard. Memories of a lifetime (until eaten by a crocodile). Check out @disneypeterpan - super fun and sweet!! #skullrockpirates by @angelaustunts

#1 on Netflix worldwide - The Night Agent! It’s refreshing to watch a show that builds in solid moments of great character development on so many levels (we even love the bad guys/girls!), clever writing, incredibly talented actors who, inside source (🤫) notes are all great people, and feature-level action. Special shout-out to @mattmylrea #GeraldPaetz, @_nostradankus @chriswebb13, @riggerchili, @pacwestspfx @stevecampanelli and a very proud Stunt Coordinator, #MikeMitchell for this great car hit.
Proud of our stunt community. @mattmylrea @darlenepineda_ @james.michalopoulos @taliaamazona #LeifHavedale, @zeedrives @jeffsanca @rickpearce62 @joshjauncey @chadinsayn #ChrisGordon @buchanan0912, @peacemaker_filmworks, the viaduct drivers, @gaelmackie and many, many more! Watch it if you have a chance. @netflix #thenightagent #thenightagentnetflix by @angelaustunts

103 years ago, one of my ancestors came from the the east side of Vancouver Island, to these West Coast waters. For over 20 years, it has been my church, my place to regroup, heal & strengthen. Grateful to be here and for the good people we have come to know. by @angelaustunts

“I wish I had this when I was in highschool” - that was the main passion that fed those who gave their support. The Langley School District Film & TV event would not have happened without the generous support of Martini Film Studios, Teamsters 155, Union of BC Performers/ACTRA, IATSE 891, ICG 669, the Directors Guild of Canada, MBS Equipment Services Canada, ActSafe, Creative Pathways BC, and a great partnership with Langley School District. Thank you not only for your unions’ generosities, but also for your time in, and for showing up to lay the landscape of our unique film & TV industry in B.C.
Additional thanks to Blue Note Catering, Frank Garcia, our event photographers Janina & Jovan, and amazing volunteers. More to come on our department representative speakers…. taken in Martini Film Studios by @angelaustunts
