Have you ever tried a Chinese-style grilled meat pie? 🥟🔥 I finally checked out JIN’S GRILLED MEAT PIE in Eastwood... and WOW. Safe to say this just earned a spot on my favourites. 🤤 ✨ What we tried: 🥟 Grilled Pork Meat Pie – flaky, golden, and perfectly toasted on the outside with a juicy, flavour-packed filling. 🦐 Prawn, Chicken & Corn Shaomai – the filling combo is chef’s kiss, especially dipped in their chilli garlic sauce. 🌶️ 🥣 Small Wonton Soup – comforting, flavourful broth with generous, meaty wontons. 🥯 Pork Bun – soft, fluffy, and packed with juicy pork. 🥟 Prawn, Chicken & Corn Fried Dumplings – crispy bottoms, juicy filling... the ASMR alone is worth it. 😮‍💨 Everything was genuinely so good, and I’d 100% recommend this spot! Found my new malatang obsession — CHUNGKING in Burwood. 🤍 The ingredient selection here is actually insane. They have wayyy too many options, including so many that I can only find here: 🥬 Veggies 🍄 Mushrooms 🍜 Noodles 🥩 Meat 🦐 Seafood - they even have lobster tail! 🥟 Dumplings 🌶️ Spicy duck gizzards 🐷 Pork kidney 🧠 Pork brain 🥩 Beef tendon 🎋 Bamboo shoots Name it... they probably have it. 😂 And can we talk about the FREE-flowing prune juice and brown sugar ice jelly?! Such a nice bonus after a hot, spicy bowl. We went with the Chef’s Chilli 🌶️ and Bone Broth 🥣 soup bases—both packed with flavour. And once I added the sesame sauce?
