Introducing this months angels @imm1___ and @sassytrx_

As a purveyor of psychedelic and progressive bliss, IMMi’s style can only be characterised as wild yet wonderful. With a love for exploring diverse sounds, IMMi’s versatility has led her to perform at a variety of venues across Naarm. Her passion for the electronic music community has also culminated in co-running music festivals and events with the collective For the Cause (@forthecause___). Experience how she crafts waves of electronic euphoria on her sonic odyssey.

sassytrax is a Naarm-based dj who always seeks to harness the energy of a crowd, blending techno, nostalgia and dubby baselines. With her sets characteristically spliced by fem vocals and hot euphoric club tracks, sassytrax has loved finding her place in the electronic music scene, playing at different venues across Naarm over the past few years as well as co-hosting For The Cause Festival. A lover of the trippy and the bold, sassytrax takes her favourite elements of dance music to transform them into her own.

LÂLKA is a classically trained artist gone rogue. Her music is an electrifying blend of glitchy textures with brutal club beats, euphoric synths and warped pop instincts.

Phoenix is a DJ exploring all areas of electronic dance music and how it can interact with other genres such as indie and pop. Phoenix’s mixing style pushes into the IDM realm as she focuses heavily on layering and FX. The infinite possibility space is very interesting to Phoenix and uses this creative freedom to experiment and explore the space in a way that feels interesting and authentic, focusing on innovative sound design and open-format mixing.

Having played at Miscellania (Dark Arts), New Guernica (M87), doofs, radio shows and bars, Phoenix has found a love in curating unique sets that fit the audience and space. In this AngelFM mix expect a journey from 125 to 150bpm as she combines progressive techno, hyper-pop, indie-pop, hard groove, psy-trance and tribal techno.

Listen back to angel @e_k1tty on the @area3000.radio Soundcloud !

This months angel is @e_k1tty a diva who thrives on all things excessive, above, and over-the-top. Her sets embody maximalism in the most ecstatic form. Based between London and Newcastle, her sound is shaped by the high-energy spirit of the northeast and the ever-evolving post-internet club scene. Hyper by nature and by BPM, her selections are a collision of distorted bass and hyper-stylised nostalgia, balancing high-speed euphoria with an ethereal edge. Drawing from the full spectrum of club sounds, she brings an eclectic, bass-heavy, hyperpop-infused euphoria to the dancefloor. A surge of sound that’s transcendent, unhinged and unmistakably hers. by @angelfmradio
