Still can’t believe I got to be part of such a special night! 🥹✨

Thank you to @churchofjesuschrist for inviting me to celebrate the Salt Lake Temple reopening and rededication at their premiere screening of the new ‘Dedicate’ series. Getting to meet the cast, hear their stories, and experience this celebration was truly an honor. I’m feeling very grateful to have been in the room for something so meaningful.

‘Dedicate’ Episode 1 is available now! ✨ You can watch it on BYUtv and the Church’s YouTube channel. I can’t wait for you all to see it!!!

@churchofjesuschrist premier of the series Dedicate was amazing . Meeting @dieterfuchtdorf and hearing him speak about the Salt Lake Temple Open House was beautiful . “everything’s aviation it’s all bringing us closer to heaven” he chuckled with me and my friends . @tamarawrunia , @emilybellefreeman and @garyestevenson gave beautiful messages and I have PURE JOY anticipating the Salt Lake Temples Doors opening to the world. I believe in Jesus Christ and his church of JOY. I feel it . #lds #ldstemple #saltlaketemple #templesquare #ldsconf @kaikiing_ by @angelineeameera

“everything’s aviation it’s all bringing us closer to heaven“ elder uchtdorf (when we talked to him not to brag).

but im guilty, of letting small things take me away from heaven. sadness over the past, guilt over my actions, pain, sorrow.

and i’ve spent a lot of time looking to sever the bond & sever the closeness between my father in heaven & I.

tonight was a good reminder watching the lords work in every continent on earth that there is nowhere you can run from God.

and ive spent a lot of time trying, or a lot of time justifying my why for doing it. but sitting there tonight I remembered just how strongly I belong to my father in heaven.

the peace of the first time entering the temple & knowing in this place I had shelter, refuge, a place to talk to my dearest friend & hear his voice.

the temples not a chore, it’s not a task, it’s a place to rest & worship & feel of the Lords love so you can go love others with it.

there’s a million reasons we can leave & a million reasons not to stay, to stay away, to run elsewhere in a noisy busy world that would willingly oblige us.

“do you love jesus? then come in” emily belle freemon

but if you love jesus the temple is the place for you no matter what you’re going through.

because that’s where jesus is & wherever jesus is, I belong & so do you.

the temple is the everlasting promise of home.

come home.

thank you @churchofjesuschrist for inviting us to rejoice in the Lord, and to be apart of these wonderful celebrations for the Salt Lake City Temple opening!

(you HAVE to watch Dedicate, it’s amazing)

“holiness to the lord, the house of the Lord.”
