Goodbye, Matt…

I still can’t believe you’re gone. I miss you more than words can say. It feels like a piece of my heart is missing now that you’re not here. But I want you to know how much you meant to me, how much I loved you, and how thankful I am to have known you.

You were one of the few who never judged me. You accepted me for who I am, always with that kind heart, always there for me. The laughs we shared, the rides we went on, your love for your EK Civic, and the way you rode your bike it all brings a smile to my face. You lived life with such passion, and you made everyone around you feel special. I can never forget how you made me feel like I mattered, like I was enough, and that was a rare gift.

You had a way of making everything seem okay, no matter what. And now, without you, I don’t know how to fill the space you’ve left behind. I want to tell you so many things, but most of all, I want you to know how much I miss you. The world won’t be the same without you here.

Rest in peace, Matt. You will always be in my heart, forever loved, forever remembered.
