Angel Of Rage is dedicated to the memory of Anj Avraam, a talented musician, artist, writer and pioneer of the local alternative music scene in Worcestershire. He was known back in the day in the scene as the lead singer of the local thrash band X-10-8 and then later on the nu metal band Wisefleaf. He was also the co-front man in the Hip Hop / cross-genre band Case Closed. Anj AKA Big Viz also used to do mentor work at local youth centres, as well as helping other musicians to record their music. He was also well known for hosting a popular open mic night at Vue Bar in Worcester. Sadly Anj passed away suddenly after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2021 at the age of just 42. His time was cut short, and he had so much more to give creatively. Tragically this type of story is not at all uncommon when it comes to this particular cancer. It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, yet for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case. Pancreatic Cancer UK is dedicated to taking on this injustice using every possible means. They're supporting people with pancreatic cancer now, campaigning, and funding vital research to transform the future. Help them to make the breakthroughs that people with pancreatic cancer so desperately need. Anj was a big inspiration to everyone around him and extremely loved by those who knew him, and will always be remembered as an energetic, talented, unique person who managed to cram so much into such a short life. Please help us to immortalise the memory of this amazing person who inspired and helped so many, by spreading the word about our event and if you can, by making whatever donation you can to our Just Giving page to help us reach our goal of raising £1000 for Pancreatic Cancer UK to support the incredible work they are doing. For now, don't forget to put Saturday 28th November in your diaries! @pancreaticcanuk @frogandfiddle #angelofrage #angelofragefest #aor #anjavraam #anjavraamfoundation #fundraiser #livemusicevent #worcester #worcestermetal #firefly #heavymetal #pancreaticcanceruk by @angelofragefest

🚨 CANCELLATION ALERT! 🚨 We're sorry to announce that this Saturday's ANGEL OF RAGE WARM-UP SHOW at HMV CHELTENHAM has unfortunately had to be postponed. The reason? Well, apparently UNTO THE AGES ARE JUST TOO DAMN LOUD! 😂🤘 On a serious note, our initial rehearsal readings came in at around 120 decibels, and despite our best efforts to bring that down considerably, the shopping centre has strict noise restrictions that we simply can't accommodate without compromising our live sound. A MASSIVE shout-out to the wonderful team at HMV Cheltenham, who have been nothing short of brilliant throughout! They've been incredibly welcoming, supportive and accommodating, and we genuinely can't thank them enough. 💜 The good news? THIS ISN'T THE END OF THE ROAD! The HMV team have kindly offered to explore alternative store locations that may be better suited to hosting us, where we can hopefully bring the full UNTO the AGES experience without having to hold back! To everyone who was planning to come along on Saturday, we're genuinely sorry to disappoint you. We were really looking forward to bringing some noise to Cheltenham, meeting you all and raising awareness for Pancreatic Cancer UK. Hopefully, we'll have another opportunity to make it happen before too long. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING, AND THANK YOU HMV CHELTENHAM! 💜🤘 #UNTOtheAGES #AngelOfRage #HMVCheltenham #PancreaticCancerUK by @angelofragefest

In their own words: "We make noise and shit like that!" And they aint wrong! With releases including The Brutal Betrayal and Sentenced under their belts, these lads are bringing some serious Birmingham hardcore to Cheltenham! We cannot WAIT to see them tear up the stage at ANGEL OF RAGE III, alongside Downpour, UNTO the AGES and Avicide, for another night of musical mayhem in memory of my bro Anj Avraam and in support of Pancreatic Cancer UK. 💜 📍 The Frog & Fiddle, Cheltenham 📅 Saturday 28th November 2026 Expect crushing riffs, pure aggression and one hell of a live show!
