“Niño Joto” premiered at @danceloft14 for “Amor, dolor, y sabor” this past weekend! Thanks to @gabrielmatamoving and @latinxmovementfestivaldc I was able to develop such a meaningful and healing work that I believe is still in progress. Where I belong. What a memorable night! This program could’ve not happened without the support from all the incredible artists and community. To our very first full evening program, we could’ve not asked for more. This night truly showed us the love of the community and we are devoted to continue to nurture this amazing community. Our hearts are filled with joy and gratitude. Thanks to everybody who supported this program. More photos to come soon. Love ❤️ Angel 📸 by @xitabymatthew by @angelvramirez

Vamos a Bailar? Long trailer 🎥 Featuring some of our favorite moments from our premiere at @atlaspacdc back in June as part of Atlas Arts Lab. Vamos a bailar? is a dance work that investigates nightlife as a site of community, resilience, and collective release. This piece invites audiences into a shared space where movement becomes both celebration and refuge. In the midst of ongoing social and administrative shifts that continue to affect many of our communities, this work seeks to uplift, energize, and reaffirm the power of coming together. Dance has long served as a home—a place where we can gather, breathe, and be held—and Vamos a bailar? aims to embody that sense of belonging with both joy and narrative depth.
