we fell hard & fast for this jungley island gem. already scheming how we can find out way back here. now off to Vietnam! ✌🏽 by @angey3000

processing your passing over the past month has been complicated & overwhelming.

i remember when we were younger, you took me and my sister to the Pearl Street tulips to take photos, we pretended to shave our faces alongside you using the back of a spoon, we laughed and danced to Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffet. i remember your love for nature, a good leather recliner, for your hot tub, deep conversation & progressive values, music and playing guitar, always in socks and Berkenstocks.

i also remember the unwanted calls and texts, the missed holidays and celebrations- your absence when you were still here. what i thought i had already mourned has found its way to the surface again in a surprising way.

i’m relieved to know you’ve found peace. addiction hooked its claws in you, and truthfully i’ve been working to detach from the same hook myself. you have been a teacher in that way, I suppose.

you believed that this lifeform wasn’t the end of the road & I will look to the sky with a new lens forever now 🤍 by @angey3000

gratitude week starts now 🤎

@emmhisattva108 led me and many others through TWO teacher trainings last year. and a yoga retreat soon after!

I cherished this time of learning, being challenged - physically, emotionally, mentally - and self exploration & reflection. it wouldn’t have been possible without her leadership, passion, care and deep knowledge and experience with yoga, on & off the mat. thank you for making an imprint on me and our Be Yoga community

so much love for you & our journey together!! 🫶🏽 by @angey3000
