there are so many layers in all of us, I figured I'd share more of myself that goes beyond being an artist 🎨

hi 💛 you can call me Ang ✨

for the past 6 years I have taken a journey to heal my mind, my body and break cycles that no longer resonated with me.

This has led me to have a love and appreciation for life's gifts:

☀️🌿 Time, nature, food, plants, mobility, love, family and friends 💛

👉🏼 As a Full-Time Artist, it is hard not to strive for the next project, to get the next launch, to go for speed rather than to slow down, to get the next big sale.

My entire artist journey has shifted several times as I have evolved.

Sometimes it can be discouraging to "start again" or shift directions. It almost feels like failure.

But I recognize that this is also part of the journey. ⭐Art shifts, when I shift⭐ But each time it is aligned with my ✨authentic self✨

And if I'm being honest, I couldn't be happier with the life I have. It checks off everything I have asked for ✅

I have accomplished every single thing I have asked for. Everything beyond this point is just fun and love ♥️

Thank you for being here 🙏🏼 Thank you for your support 🫂 and thank you for being part of this journey of mine.

This tote personal project is for my love towards the Earth, our home <3

I am working with pants and keeping the pockets for the inside of the tote!

A gentle reminder that art can be anything and it doesn't have to look like everyone else.

Creating looks a lot different than it was since becoming a mom.

It has tested my love for creating.

Creating is now any chance I get. Any and every moment I feel inspired and uninspired. (My life literally depends on it)

Before becoming a mom, I only created for other people. Never for myself.

I pushed all my projects and ideas to make someone else happy. (Sorry clients)

I will be honest.

Clients? Wácala (Ew)
I'm done with it.

You know what I truly love?

Creating because its fun and feels SOO GOOD creating something beautiful that *means* something to me 🩷

Nothing else matters when im creating.

Its just
Me present with myself.
Me hanging out with me.
Me getting to know me.

And my soul reflects onto a physical form that I made with my two hands.

Anything counts. There are no limits. 🌠

Ohh ma gawd - 9 years ago today I painted my first mural at Orange Coast College. 🍊

My professor said.... youre going to need bigger brushes.

I used a cafeteria plastic lunch box as my palette and small brushes.

This is all I had.

A reminder that you dont need X to complete the art, the painting, the project.

Use what you have and if you want it done, it shall get done.

Life update: commissions are back open!! ✨️

Baby boy is now 7 months!!! He is crawling and walking with assitance. He loves pickles, onions, avocado, and tomato. He does NOT like store bought apple sauce. Just the fresh stuff lol
