There was a time I wondered when and if I’d be able to do this again.

Four months after distal biceps tendon repair surgery, I completed my first pull-ups. I remained focused and consistent to my training.

I’m grateful to be back, and this is only the beginning. The goal remains the same: rebuild, get stronger, and earn those 10 unassisted pull-ups again and more! 💪

I spent most of 2025 working towards one goal: 10 unassisted pull-ups by the end of 2025 💪

I reached my goal on 31 December 2025.

I tore my bicep earlier this year, as a result of over training, a setback that required surgery and forced me out of training for several months.

Recovery has tested my patience more than any workout ever could, but it’s also reminded me that strength isn’t just built in the gym. It’s built through resilience, consistency and showing up, even when progress feels slow.

I’ve been back training my upper body and, from mid-August, I’ll finally be cleared to do pull-ups again. I can’t wait to start rebuilding my strength and work my way back to where I was before surgery.

Here’s to starting again, trusting the process, and coming back stronger💥
