Congratulations to @brodyrobisonfishing for capturing the 2026 Bassmaster Opens Div 2 Angler of the Year award.

Not only can he catch them, but he is a solid instructor. We were excited to have him as a part of the 2026 Angler Development Program!

Plus, he's an all around good guy - follow him as he goes north for the late summer season schedule.

Final Post for 2026 ADP – we hope you have enjoyed it as much as we did!!

We conducted a second skills contest to see how much each angler improved (long cast, pitching, skipping, and content creation) plus we threw in scores for long drive and skeet shooting to make it interesting. The progress was remarkable for everyone, but BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Noah Cordill who handily won the overall skill competition (big scores in content creation and skeet shooting).

Plus our local friends @nicholsluresinc @dirtyjigstackle spent the afternoon cheering on the boys and explaining how they manufacture some of the best bait available anywhere.

Lots of big fish were caught across the two weeks, but @brodyrobison had the largest overall with a giant 9.10# giant!!

Thanks to all the campers, staff, pro instructors, and parents for making these past two weeks memories for a lifetime.

On day one @anglerdevelopment program, we assess the camper skills. It help us understand where each angler is in their developmental path and sets us up to give them the coaching they need. The platforms are available for practice through the duration of the event, and we do a final assessment on Thursday evening. Then we combine the scores with video, skeet shooting, and long drive for the grand competition prize @turtleboxaudio by @anglerdevelopmentprogram

Grip & grin!!

The ponds at @experienceliveoak showed out again this morning. Team 1 leads the way with a bag anchored by @ellisfishing 7.68# on a frog. In the Pro division, @brodyrobisonfishing ‘s 9.10 stands on top of the standings.

We have had a few user struggles with @fishingchaos (not technology problems). If we can get them straightened out, then we can update entries in the system. In the meantime, here’s a sampling of how the day went.

Week 2 is underway with 9 high school anglers from Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. The experience level ranges from “many” tournaments fished to “No” tournaments fished. So, @lucas_lindsey_fishing @brodyrobisonfishing and @peyton_sorrow_fishing conducted an amazing Tackle Talk session that included their versions of how to catch bass in: different seasons, different style lakes, various presentations, and so much more. These cats know their stuff.

After dinner, we did the preliminary skills competition. Now we have a starting point on the anglers ability to cast for distance, accuracy, and skip. With a little coaching, we expect that to improve for Thursdays finals.

ADP - Week 2!

This will be a special week for @experienceliveoak . Our second week of the Angler Development Program features new instructors - plus we have 3 returning anglers among the 9 participants. This group hails from Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. The combined group has fished over 100 tournaments and includes grades 7-10.

The instructor groups includes Collegiate Champions, a Bass Opens Angler of the Year, and a Redcrest qualifier.

There will be A LOT of learning going on!

What an NSANE week!

So many laughs and fish stories....OMG!!

We appreciate our wonderful pros who gave of themselves and traveled long distances to really apply themselves to helping the boys reach a new level.. And, the boys were simply great young men - up every morning, please/thank you, grace before meals, hats off at the table, etc. Both are proof that there is A LOT of good in this world.

This morning was NSANE!!

A 55 degree sunrise was a surprise, but it apparently fired the fish UP! Details are on @fishing_chaos but here are a few tidbits:

The boat of @rgeefishing @hilton.fishing and @miller_rosamond_fishing had a 5 fish bag of 35# (and alleged to break off a couple more +9s.

Meanwhile, the pro competition heated up between @rgeefishing and @brockreinkemeyer leading to a shortage of the key baits - now everybody is scrambling....

Wednesday afternoon was highlighted by an NASANE round of "Annie Oakley" on the trap range - the boys results are included in the over all point scores on @fishing_chaos .

Then we had a great Tackle Talk session around "off the water topics" like nerves, making decisions, sponsor engagement, etc.

You can track it all at @fishing_chaos .

The first day on the water was met with much cooler and windier conditions. Good thing we have an NSANE group of anglers with premier instructors!! They are fishing for a tournament worn Logan Parks autographed jersey - and apparently, they ALL want it.

Josh Weaver's 7# monster may have stole the show (he's not eligible for the jersey), but Rankin, Miller, and others stay hot on the trail of the big bass honors!!

Off to the 5 stand and a bit more Tackle Talk - then some SKILLS....
