When Distillery, London travelled to India to direct a film for Google DPI, we didn’t anticipate how fast-paced the journey would be.
From Bangalore’s state-of-the-art offices to the fields of a village in Uttar Pradesh, our team in India worked through tight schedules and complex logistics to capture innovation where it matters the most.
Long days, early starts, and constant movement - every moment added to the story.

Not many people know this, but India is a major manufacturer and exporter of sports goods… many still crafted using traditional techniques rather than modern machinery.
For this film for Galileo, our production team travelled to a small factory in Meerut, north of Delhi, where @christophkarrasch even made a basket full of tennis balls… a truly hands-on experience!

We travelled to Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, to create a film for Maximus Films, following a young schoolgirl whose classroom stays cool — without a single unit of AC — in one of the hottest places on Earth.
The Rajkumari Ratnavati Girls’ School shows how thoughtful architecture can protect, empower, and inspire an entire generation.

Over three days in Assam, our crew captured real stories of women in tea communities and their journey toward empowerment through the Women’s Safety Accelerator Fund.

It isn’t every day you get to work closely with a Deputy Prime Minister— without the usual bandwagon of protocol.
We were honoured to be the India production partners for Bargeon TV’s Mijne Eerste Reis, featuring Petra De Sutter, Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium, revisiting her deep connection with India alongside host @siskaschoeters .
From the vibrant chaos of Old Delhi to the calm of Dharamshala, this was a special project to be part of.

Repost @christophkarrasch @prosieben @galileo Throwback to June 2024 when we filmed this travel documentary in Meghalaya, North East India. The crew travelled to the wettest place on earth - Mawsynram, a Khasi village with their unique handicrafts and exploring a root bridge in Cherrapunji. What an amazing adventure. More to come in the next post.
