August — the month that will scar me for the rest of my life. 💔

Although this was the worst month of my life, it also showed me that even in the deepest grief, you can still find little beautiful moments worth holding onto.

I learned so much this month. I learned to call the people you love more. To be present. To listen more and speak less. To look for the signs. To take more pictures, make more phone calls, say “I love you” more, and most importantly, to truly live in the moment.

Because you don’t get back the missed opportunities. You don’t get to go back and make the memories you thought you had more time to make. Life is not promised, and everything can change in a moment.

This month changed me forever. I’ll never be the same person I was before August, but I hope I carry these lessons with me for the rest of my life.

Thank you to every single person who has been there for us, checked in on us, prayed for us, showed up for us, and helped us through the hardest time of our lives. I will forever be grateful for all the love we have received. 🤍

August 2nd — the day my life changed forever. The day I lost my dad. The day it felt like all the color was taken from my world. 💔

The grief that comes with losing a parent is something I could never put into words. The day I feared my entire life finally came, and I didn’t even get the chance to say goodbye. That is something my heart will forever ache over.

I still find myself asking why. I ask God why He needed you, because I needed you too. I don’t think I will ever understand why you had to leave us so soon, but somehow, I know I will have to learn to live with a life that looks different without you here.

I will forever miss you, Dad. Your love, your presence, and your soul will live within my heart for the rest of my life. I will continue to hold onto and relive every beautiful memory we shared, because those memories are pieces of you that death can never take away from me.

Thank you for loving me the way you did. Thank you for everything you gave me, everything you taught me, and for a lifetime of memories I will carry with me until we meet again.

I wasn’t sure this would actually work, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. I just plugged it in and within a couple days I noticed it was catching way more flies than I expected. It’s also super easy to maintain. Just replace that adhesive card cartridge when it’s full. no mass no sprays. Cleaning is super quick and simple. I would definitely recommend it giving this a try

Theres nothing better than stepping out of the shower feeling fresh ✨I’ve been really impressed with the Native body wash. It lather well, leaves my skin feeling clean without drying it out, and the scents are fresh without being overpowering. It’s become one of my favorite body washes.
