It’s always hard to put into words how much YoonFest means to me, because Yoon is a feeling. After 7 weekends on that dance floor over nearly 6 years, it’s a feeling that only gets better each time you experience it.

I’ll try, but at the end of the day you really had to be there.

I feel incredibly blessed to have played on the same stage as many amazing artists and to also call many of them my friends.

This year was extra special to me for so many reasons. I got to share the stage with my brother @mitchsolder_ , I met some amazing new friends with whom I was able to grow extra close to in such a short amount of time, and I grew even closer to the friends I’ve already known for years.

That’s what Yoon is about at its core. Yoonity. Coming together on that dance floor, sharing the moment, dancing in the cold California air under the moonlight. Sitting with your chosen family and gazing up at the stars, watching them fade into daylight as the sun peaks above the mountain ridge, the carefully curated YoonFest Soundtrack humming in the background.

Little moments like this bring us closer to those we share them with, they bring us closer to ourselves, and closer to the universe.

The feeling of driving into Yoonfest on that bumpy road is always as electric as it is the first time you do it, and driving out is always bittersweet, but it’s extra special if you’re in the car with the right person.

Cheers to many more years of YoonFest

With love,

Madzy

Opened the show last night as Look #1 wearing @palomabalvin at @istitutomarangoni_miami’s La Grande Bellezza and I’m still in my feelings about it 🕊️

First one out. The energy was unreal. So honored to be part of something historic. taken in Istituto Marangoni by @angrybutplural
