The final one, done!! Still doesn’t feel real, but so proud of what I’ve accomplished and excited for what’s ahead. 🤍

I’ve been putting this off because I have a lot to share, so TLDR: I got my masters!!

1. how I felt all day at graduation!!
2. the woman who helped make this all possible, my fellow classical music queen, my number one supporter, everyone’s favorite icon: Ganny. took this pic at a concert when I got to spend a whole month with her this summer doing an opera program! overflowing with gratitude for her, and striving to make her proud in all things, always. love you, Ganny! 💗
3. mentor, voice teacher, friend, she does it all. I could not have made it through this degree without Savanna - she has changed my voice and my life and blew open the door for me to discover who I am as an artist. so thankful for the wisdom and the laughs - can’t wait for more to come!! 💕
4. couldn’t stop beaming with pride over my beautiful Laura!! I say it every time, but creating music with her is such a gift - her talent inspires me to be better. I’m so proud of the recital we presented and I feel so lucky to have found a friend along the way!✨
5. getting to conduct the first collegiate ensemble I was a part of almost 10 years later as a masters student was a huge point of joy for me this semester. steadfast Lesley, always there to guide me, challenge me, encourage me; she has been shaping my trajectory for so long with such grace an intention. my forever marigold!!! 🌼
6. this recital! this dress!! omg!! what a testament to the work I have put in these past two years. so proud of what laura and I presented and hopeful to share more soon!!!
7. my last bow on the Belmont opera stage!started off the summer saying “what is this Iphigénie opera??” and got to spend the semester diving deeply into this character’s complex tragedy. both of my characters had an emotional crash out on stage in different ways, and that was a fun challenge!!
8. took this pic after my first two comp exams in the morning; am not including the pic I took after I wept during the last two that afternoon. I passed, though!!!
9. sacred time with my Murfreesboro h8ers. 🫶🏼
