There are bonds that do not need to be explained. They exist before words and often remain after them.
This project explores the relationship between grandparents and grandchildren as a fragile continuous bond.
A red line runs through the publication, gradually growing from page to page, symbolising a connection that begins small and strengthens over time. It reflects the invisible threads - stories, gestures, habits, and memories - that keep two distant generations deeply connected.
This book does not seek to define what it means to be a grandparent or a grandchild.
It stays within that relationship for a moment.
To look closely.
To listen.

Durante questo viaggio, mi sono spesso ritrovata con lo sguardo rivolto al cielo: al giorno, dalle sue nuvole che danzavano leggere; alla notte, immersa nel silenzio punteggiato di stelle, come se l’universo si fosse aperto un po’ di più proprio sopra di me.
Fuerteventura è una terra antica, fatta di montagne che sembrano vegliare sul mondo con la saggezza dei millenni.
Un tempo ardenti di fuoco, oggi trasmettono una quieta energia, come se quel calore primordiale si fosse trasformato in spirito, in memoria viva della terra.
Sabbie dorate si estendono a perdita d’occhio, scontrandosi con venti che sussurrano storie a chi sa ascoltare.
Questa terra mi ha rapita, nel corpo e nell’anima. Un grazie speciale a @baobab_vegan_fuerteventura e @elisabettasalerio, @matteo_thedon e @pao.rel custodi di questo angolo di mondo: grazie per l’accoglienza, per il vostro amore autentico per la natura, gli animali, la vita e il mistero dell’universo. Vi porto nel cuore, amici. Ci vediamo presto. by @ani.cee
