"I wasn't ready to just give it up all yet."⁣
⁣
Anelisa "Ani" Mteto is a professional rugby player with the Dallas Reds. It was the last two minutes of the 7's National Championship tournament when, "Snap!," his Achilles tendon ruptured; he had no feeling in his foot. ⁣
⁣
"It was rough," he said. "I mean, I eat, drink, sleep rugby like it's basically who I am."⁣
⁣
After surgery, Ani chose our Select Sports - Sports Medicine program at our Dallas - Carroll Avenue center for specialized sports medicine services with specially-trained clinicians.⁣
⁣
Watch Ani discuss what it took to come back from this devastating injury and the game-changing training that prepped him to return to the pitch. Link in bio for the full story. by @ani_mteto14
