Where do you go to find truth when you have never stepped out your front door?

Through the Doors tells the story of Odessa's strange journey across an abstract universe filled with singing creatures and mythical environments. Moving from one fantastic scene to the next, does Odessa get closer to learning her father's fate—or farther from the truth?

Composed by Pomona College faculty member Ania Vu with co-librettist Paul Karasik, this unstaged reading features BlackBox Ensemble with Amber Evans & Tamara Bevard, sopranos, and Scott Graff & Luc Kleiner, baritones. taken in Lyman Hall, Pomona College by @ania_vu

This Sunday, new music champions and Celliola members Cindy Fogg (viola) and Tom Flaherty (cello) are joined by Melissa Givens, soprano; Scott Graff, baritone; Rachel Vetter Huang, violin; Joti Rockwell, mandolin & mandola; and Genevieve Feiwen Lee, piano.
