ON A WINDY day, he
was the only bird on the shore. Measuring approximately 15 cm, it is aptly named, as it is the smallest wader. He was looking for his food through the algae.
Sitting on the ground, I saw him approaching more and more and I said to myself, hey, he's coming to greet me. We kept each other company for almost an hour. It is with a touch of sadness that I let him continue on his merry way.
Thank you Least Sandpiper for this beautiful moment on the edge of the river!

Il fait soleil et les vents forts soulèvent la neige, alors que ce Gros-bec errant femelle examine la situation aux alentours.// Strong winds make it looks like it’s snowing on this sunny day, while this Evening Grosbeak is wandering where she should go.
