pinching myself!! I am over the moon excited to be a part of @americanfilminstitute DWW+ program. So many legendary women have gone through this program in years & decades past, and it is an honor to be a part of this year’s cohort. I can’t wait to grow with this talented group of women, under the leadership of @lilymariye ❤️ by @anikag_
we had so much fun at @austinfilmfest this fall and are so very honored to have received this years Enderby Entertainment filmmaking fellowship. Thanks to the folks at @enderbyent for your support!! (also every festival post we have ever done is 2 months late but that’s the just the way it is) by @anikag_
okay gonna be sentimental for a second because I wrote this film 6 years ago (!!!) and it is now online on YouTube (on DUST). watch it!!! link in bio!! genuinely when I wrote this I was like “oh it’ll be so easy there’s only two characters in an apartment” but turns out when one of those characters is a fully CGI robot it’s not super easy?!!? so grateful & always in awe of @skyemahaffie who literally taught herself blender during the pandemic and went from making 1 single 3D bagel to an entire CGI character when we started making this film it was my dream that it would end up on DUST and it felt like kismet when they reached out to us about partnering with them to release the film. so happy that it has this home 🩵 I feel so so so much gratitude to this entire cast & crew, and especially to @midoriglory for taking the leap of faith and acting across from a green trashcan, @corrina_corrina_l for being my partner in crime, @jazzycine my ride or die 4ever, @_pa_trish_ pastel queen, and @chris_bauer_rva and @rude_horse_productions for believing in the project when it was just a dream and a pitch deck. it takes a village to make a film and I can’t imagine a better village, I love this crew + cast so much!!! by @anikag_

Honored to have received the Audience Award at the Science Fiction and Fantasy Short Film Festival last weekend. When we set out to make this film almost six years ago (!) this one of the festivals we were most hoping to one day play it at - so what a special and full circle moment to not only play the festival but to be honored in this way. Thank you @mopopseattle and @siffnews for having us! 📷: Christine Mitchell by @anikag_
