My first @rcstradmusic public recital is happening in a few weeks!

I'll be playing some tunes composed by instrumentalists who are not fiddlers, implementing techniques that are found in various fiddle traditions.

I am also thrilled to have @miguel.vz.girao and @georgie.gj joining me on stage!

The Third Degree is a Boston-based band that plays mostly old time and Scottish tunes for dancing. The band has Cecily Mills (@cecilymills) on Cello, Isaiah Gardham (@isaiahgardham) on guitar, and Anika Thomas (@anikathomasfiddle) on fiddle. I’m definitely a little newer to fiddle styles, but @_anikathomas has been such a patient friend to play and collaborate with. We’ve had an absolute blast developing this set! 🥳
