Some political parties, especially those with far-right ideologies, and certain individuals argue that #climate change isn’t a pressing issue at the moment. However, I believe the #Global South, particularly the economies of the so-called "Third World," are already struggling with the effects of climate change. When I visited #nepal a few months ago, I noticed that some mountains were struggling to accumulate snow, which is very rare for the October/November season.
There are many other dimensions of climate change affecting small, tourism-based economies like Nepal. However, the question remains: Who should be more concerned about this problem? Those who contribute the most to carbon emissions. And surely, Nepal is not among them. According to the Global Carbon Project, the top three countries producing the most carbon are #China, the #USA, and #India.
There are ongoing debates and advocacy efforts to compensate small economies in the Global South, which are victims of carbon producers. I believe these advocacy efforts are entirely valid. I think people from the Global South, as a #global community, should talk about climate issues more often than before.

I had a quick moment in front of this peaceful monument after ages. This is one of the largest #Buddhist temples, and is also listed as a #UNESCO World Heritage Site. This holy landmark attracts thousands of tourists in the heart of the #capital, #Kathmandu.

While Kathmandu and the whole of Nepal are celebrating their biggest festival, the country is slowly returning to normal after the tragic floods and landslides. #kathmandu #buddhist #temple #unesco #photography #landscapephotography #iphonegram #nepal #photojournalism #visualart #documentarayphotography #arts #tourism #asia taken in Kathmandu, Nepal by @anil_frameandtale

What's your #best setting for football photography?
I'm fairly new to #football #photography!
Here are some highlights from my first football shoot with Maineroad Football Club. It was also a test for my #Sigma 18-250mm lens.
Considering the quickly changing #manchester #weather and fast-paced nature of action #sports , I am not too upset by the quality of the #images from this lens.

A Slightly Delayed Post:
Last month, I had the privilege to be a part of the #University of Bolton's Summer School program (Institute of Medicine). Being a #Visual #Ambassador of that #summer school for several days, I developed various visual content, particularly for #social media.

I almost forgot how to create engaging content via #iPhone. This video, captured on my iPhone, showcases a technique I learned during the second semester of my MA program (@mavjs.boltonuni ).
I would love to hear your feedback!

Last Saturday, the #Manchester #Museum was transformed into a vibrant mini #Nepal. The venue captured the essence of #Kathmandu, Mt. Everest, Dolpa, and #Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord #Buddha and almost every cultural part of #Nepal. Visitors were treated to a spectacular display of culturally adorned #Nepali dancers, a digital photo exhibition showcasing the #Himalayas landscape, and an array of traditional handicrafts and household items from #Nepal. The event also featured #yoga sessions and numerous informative posters highlighting Nepal's rich heritage sites, many of which are listed as #UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the #Manchester Nepali Samaj, the University of Manchester, the #South #Asian #Gallery, and the Manchester Museum for allowing me to be part of this incredible #Nepal Day event.

Anti-war encampment protests originated at US universities and have now gained global momentum. This past weekend, hundreds of students from the #university of Manchester participated in an anti-war encampment at Brunswick Park. #student activists are calling for #uk universities to cut off ties with Israeli universities and are also advocating for an end to arms supply to #jerusalem.

#joy , #pride, and people's #passion!

Today, I witnessed the #adidas #manchester #marathon, the UK's second-largest marathon. Thousands of people participated in the 26.2-mile run challenge, which started from Old #trafford and finished at Talbot Road.
