Oh, how I love to love you @a.j.laurens ! 💋
This shoot at 💎 @kimptonfitzroy 💎 is one of my absolute favorites. The results, for me, encapsulate how seamlessly @a.j.laurens and I fit together— in love, in business, in life ♥️

🤳 My honey is not a professional photographer. He is a managing director with a @samsungwithgalaxy smartphone 🤓😂 but he also is an inquisitive man with an appreciation for art, beauty and visual storytelling. It’s in his nature to quite literally stop and smell the flowers when out on a walk. The type to pause and snap a photo of a butterfly perched on a leaf because “the colors are just too beautiful.” It’s this genuine appreciation of the everyday things around us that has ultimately honed his photography over the years. And it in turn, really allows me to shine when his lens turns to me 😌.

🦋 I am often the focus of @a.j.laurens ‘s photography (with our Lily 🐶 coming as a close second). But these snaps taken by my beloved just before the @onalajaofficial LFW show, when I look at them….it is palpable to me how much he loves me, and how much I share that love in return. In these photos, I feel the essence of us. Our love is my favorite kind of love!

✨This day was such a fantastically magically wonderful day. But ultimately what made it the greatest day was that it was simply another day spent with @a.j.laurens . Everyday day with you is the greatest day, my love, and I wouldn’t want it any other way ♥️

With Practical Magic 2 still holding strong at the box office, here’s a few some #bts from my ✨magical✨ days on set. Admittedly I didn’t snap many pics beyond my trailer because we gotta stay pRoFeSsiOnaL 😝. But I’ve thrown in a few cheeky moments from my castmates and WB’s content already on socials. Pay attention and see if you can spot me! 🕵️‍♀️🔮✨

London Fashion Week with Onalaja | RE:BIRTH SS27

Dress: @onalajaofficial
Bracelet & Ring: @swarovski
Earrings: @jcrew
Clutch: @kurtgeiger
Heels: @madewell
Hair & Makeup: @aniseology

One of my favorite things about Black women is that we rarely look like what we’ve been through. ‘Cause if there’s one thing a Black woman is going to do, she’s gon’ find a way! Just two months before fashion week, @onalajaofficial suffered a devastating studio fire, resulting in the destruction of over 10 years of work and design. But the British-Nigerian female founder @kkencoo refused to let such a heavy setback deter her, pouring every ounce of determination, dedication, and vision into delivering a full collection in a matter of *weeks*. RE:BIRTH SS27 is resilience personified— a new chapter arisen from the embers 🐦‍🔥

Thank you @onalajaofficial for inviting me to this momentous occasion, and for outfitting me in the timelessly beautiful Farah gown. On the heels of @practicalmagicmovie opening big at the box office last weekend, this gown felt ✨magically✨ just for me!

Practical Magic 2 is officially #️⃣1️⃣ at the box office, WORLDWIDE!! I can hardly put into words how FULL my heart is from this weekend. Firstly, I’m actually blown away by how many of you went to see the film as soon as it came out just for little ole’ me 🥹. While I’m not lead cast, you still showered me with such love and remarked how THRILLED you were by my character. Seeing my name rolling in the credits is a feeling like no other. But oh how I did not expect to start sobbing in the theatre when my tribe hooted and hollered for me during the credits! 😭😭
.
I feel beyond blessed that in a world so disconnected, I’ve still managed to cultivate a little village around me that consistently bolsters me up and makes me feel so cherished and seen! Oh how my heart sings. Let’s BRING BACK THE VILLAGE y’all. It is the salt of this earth! 💖
.
Thanks to all of you who have seen it already and to those of you gearing up to. It is a fantastic film that’ll make you laugh and feel alive. So run, don’t walk. PRACTICAL MAGIC 2 🔮, in theatres EVERYWHERE! You’re bound to have a magical time! 😉✨
