I just wanted to tell a story. That's it.

But the more I tried to build, the more obvious it became how much gets in the way of stories actually surviving. Not because they aren’t good enough. Not because people don’t care. But because the system around them was never built to truly support the people making them.

AniVera came from this.

It’s the reason I’ve been quiet over the past year. Unlike other alternative platforms we will validate our model in the OPEN to show studios, that no matter what level your at, to show fans no matter how small your fanbase is, it'll always have a way to survive.

Part of me wants to believe this was never the original goal. We all understand business. Some projects make it and some do not. But when the curtains close, it is usually not the people at the big table who lose everything. It is the teams who gave years of their lives making the story real.

That is the part that stays with me. Because people want to see these stories thrive, studios want to know they don't have to lose some of their control because they borrowed money for a film/show that's "too risky"

Animation does not lack people who care. It lacks a better way to turn that care from fans into support, momentum, and a real path forward for studios and teams behind it.

That is why we are building AniVera.

It happened faster than expected. Here's the story.

Originally, i just wanted to make another YouTube story time series. But with my experience in production, I shifted towards to indie side wanting to build something bigger.

Right as I was about to, a hurricane through and changed almost everything I was building in one night.
I've been animating and writing BTTITIC for almost 2 years now. Unfinished projects and inconsistency all across the board. The state of the industry wasn't a good sign either.

But I had this idea...by itself it was obviously horrible. But thought out? I felt like I had a way to not only help the industry, but in a big way-- potentially save it.

My name is Levi Lawshe, I am 22 years old. I am the creator of 'By The Tree In The Clouds' and Founder of ANIVERA - The Future Home of Animation!

10,000 followers is insane. When I first came up with AniVera, I was scared out of my mind.

Not because I didn’t believe in it. It was mainly because I knew the problem was real. I had felt and saw it firsthand. I had seen how hard it is for animation teams to keep going, even when the audience is there, when the love is there, even if studios got initial funding.

The idea started simple: What if fans could subscribe monthly and choose which studios their money helps support?

But the deeper I went, the more I realized how ambitious it was. It couldn't just be another support platform/ streaming app. It had to be a real system that made sense for fans, protected the studios (and artists), reduced volatility, and gave future productions a stronger foundation to stand on.

That is what AniVera has been built to become. An ecosystem for the future of animation, if we build it correctly. Thank you for believing this early. Thank you for getting involved. We still have so much farther to go. 10,000 people still believe we need a better system, 10,000 people believe in AniVera.
