i’ve always felt bittersweet about kolkata. on some days it has felt like the only home i can call my own and on some others it is as unfamiliar to me as the next stranger here in delhi. but beyond the chaos, if you venture a little deeper - calmness that comes with the city is truly hard to find elsewhere. i’m honoured i get to call you home, and i’m often sad about how my memories of you are tainted with the tumultuous and violent experience of growing up.

rare self appreciation post and some thoughts: slowly, quietly entering a turbulent phase mentally. graduation, big life changes, huge feelings - they’re all taking a toll on me. there’s a long airplane ride upcoming to a destination i’ve only ever dreamt of going to. hoping for strength and reminders to take deep breaths for myself and all reading this :’) we got this. by @anjalidtripathi
