What a remarkable actress Shweta Tripathi is and a fine human being ! I have always admired Shweta Tripathi 🎞️🎬🎥 - an acclaimed Indian actress known for playing complex, grounded, and non-conforming roles in Hindi cinema and web series. When I heard she is traveling via Dubai 🏙️🌇 and has a layover here, as an artist 🎨, even with just few hours in hand ⏳, I couldn’t resist - creating her realistic portrait - as a token of my appreciation for her 🤩 and her craft 📽️ My admiration for her increased manifold when I received that ‘thank you video’ without even asking or expecting it ! That really made my day !! And then, one-on-one interaction that followed really made me her diehard fan for life ! Because the way a celebrity interacts and deals in personal interaction with common people speaks volumes about her as the person. You are a gem of a person, Shweta @battatawada ! Keep shining !! ✨ ⭐️ ✨ I will be watching her latest, ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ 🍿 📽️ 🎦 How about you, my dear people !? Also, do let me know what you guys think of the portrait and the process in the comments below! Moment of pride and recognition An artist is elated when her efforts and skills are applauded in public at international level. It was one such moment when #samskritabharati UAE felicitated me (along with all artists who were part of panel to judge the poster making competition) at the #indiaindubai🇮🇳 (Consulate General of India, Dubai) on the evening of 8th February 2025. I felt honored and humbled at the same time. Being an expat in a friendly country yet away from motherland has its own bitter sweet moments. And when you are recognized at the highest Indian office in that friendly country, it’s a moment to cherish and celebrate. My family joins me in my happiness. A sincere thanks to #samskritabharati UAE for bestowing this honor and organizing a cultural evening, so rich and embedded with Indian ethos to celebrate Swami Vivekananda Jayanti & Ganatantra Dinotsava (Republic Day25). I was mesmerized and marveled at the event solely organized in Sanskrit language. Had my Deja vu moment and recollection of Sanskrit classes in school in my childhood. The cultural program was exceptional! Gratitude to #indiaindubai🇮🇳 for hosting the event. Sharing the stage with Head of Chancery, CGI, Dubai, Shri Bijender Singh as Chief Guest and receiving momento from him was my happy moment. #uae #india #art #vivekananda #painting #judging #indiaculture #artandculture #sanskrit #moment of pride #artistrecognized #republicdayindia🇮🇳 by @anjalisinha2k
“The vibrant sails on Dubai Creek” I saw these colourful and vibrant sails on the Dubai Creek during my visits to @sikkaplatform 2025 recently held at @alshindaghamuseum The vibrant colours of these gaunt sails stood out and its vibrancy reflected in water ! It was so mesmerizing to the eyes. These boats are owned by @windrisesdubai and artists were commissioned to hand paint the sails. Beautiful 😍 #anjalisinha_art #art #sikkaplatform #sikka25 #sikkaart #sikkapainting #alshindaghamuseum #pencilcolor #dubai #uae #duabiart #artdubai #sketchwalk #dibaiculture #dubaipost #urbansketchers #urbansketchersdubai by @anjalisinha2k
With Diwali just around the corner, this is perfect page to colour 🪔✨ What a delight for an artist to see this and actually colour it ! Brilliant initiative by @letsblinkit !! This is just the first of many waiting to be coloured ! I started this with pencil colours then felt the colours need to be brighter for Diwali vibe so painted it over with watercolour 🤓 Happy with the result. 😎 Tell me in the comments below and if possible share which one did you colour on the blinkit carry bag ?! I am waiting …. by @anjalisinha2k

A day filled with art, creativity & beautiful connections! 🎨✨ Honoured to be part of Recreating History – The Canvas Continues, where we brought a historic canvas back to life and created its next chapter together! 🎨 The 150-metre collaborative canvas was originally painted by 1,500 participants in just one hour at the Annual Students Art Show 2025, setting a world record. This time, 10 artists and over 100 students from five schools came together to continue its story. ❤️✨ Grateful to be part of this wonderful initiative organised by @fununartsgroup in partnership with @dubaiculture , with @ajcccuae as the venue partner. 🫶🏻 📍 Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children, Dubai 📅 8 October 2026 #recreatinghistory #fununartsgroup #dubaiculture #dubaiartscene #dubaiartistscommunity by @anjalisinha2k

Inclusivity, through dignity and empowerment, showcasing talents & skills, and transforming lives. We gathered and made the day memorable by participating, creating and celebrating together! I feel blessed to be part of the 4th Edition of the @lil.merchant_bazaar where People of Determination gathered to display their products at @oasismallsdubai Efforts of @tand_nish , the Founder of @byte_inclusive_affairs who made this possible, bringing together the artist family from @fununartsgroup as part of this meaningful initiative and for creating a platform that celebrates People Of Determination, their entrepreneurial opportunities, boost their skill development, independence and confidence. The artists and volunteers, along with people present, witnessed incredibly talented People of Determination, who not only excel in making unique products, but also as emcee, dancers, singers, little chefs, artists and much more. The evening was full of fun and frolic, and one could feel the electric environment coming alive with sketching, singing, dancing, playing musical instrument, live cooking, all things creative and community involvement. It was pure joy to be part of this! The distribution of the Certificate of Participation was a beautiful culmination of the day acknowledging the time and contribution made by each volunteer. Khan sisters from Funun Arts Group and Nisha were true to the spirit and applauded the talents displayed and were forthcoming to convey that every effort deserves to be recognised. Time, dedication, contribution and effort by each artist is a testimonial to their effort in standing with the People of Determination: Amreen Khan Anjali Sinha Dr. Anum Anwar Ali Maria Aamer Maha Mousa Ritika Dhawan Shah Svetlana Kreventsova We also witnessed very young volunteers participating and enthusiastically fulfilling their role. A big applause for these kids- Mohammed Azaan Mehtab Khan, Maryam Sarfraz Khan and Mohammed Wali Mehtab Khan A heartfelt thanks to @byte_inclusive_affairs and @fununartsgroup for bringing us together at @oasismallsdubai for @lil.merchant_bazaar - a space where everyone participated, created and celebrated. The event brought back so many pleasant memories! It was indeed a well planned and beautifully executed event which made it memorable for me. Being a trained artist (more than 30 years ago!) and a Professional Social Worker, having interest in social cause and volunteering since my school days with special needs children and later worked with them and in other #CSR related fields, with giant Conglomerates like @tatasteelfoundation , @bhartiairtelfoundation and the United Nations (@unwomenasia ), this was like coming full circle and combing my both passions together. Can’t thank @fununartsgroup and @snfdevcenter enough for this amazing day ! @fununartsgroup @snfdevcenter @shibakhanartworks @farahkhan @anjalisinha2k @_i_kreate_ @uaeyearof @asasycmhub by @anjalisinha2k
October 1st | WORLD POSTCARD DAY To commemorate the World Postcard Day sharing my colourful @postcrossing designed by @ohhsayy Thanks for this amazing design @ohhsayy - Loved putting my colours to it! #postcrossing #postmark #worldpostcardday by @anjalisinha2k
What an incredible experience of creating along with 9 other artists of high calibre along with People of Determination at @snfdevcenter as part of:   JOINING HANDS – ASAS 2026 | UAE CHAPTER 6th Edition • Art for Inclusion   This year’s ASAS Theme provided to the artists to create was “The Eras of Art – A Journey Through Time” exploring the colourful and exciting POP ART ERA.   Pop Art bridges the gap between commercial mass media and fine art by turning everyday cultural symbols into bold visual statements.   I decided to use Renaissance × Pop Art: “The Comic Book Masterpiece” method with the following details: ·      The Concept was reimagining high-renaissance emotional expressions through the lens of Roy Lichtenstein’s comic strips. * Visual Ideas was to depict an Arab figure, like Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam. Redrew them using heavy black graphic outlines and explicit Ben-Day dots for shading, and with Dubai in the backdrop.   * Execution: Have added a stylized comic text bubble - finger saying, “OH... I THINK I SEE THE SPARK!”   This was a meaningful CSR initiative where art became a bridge for inclusion, connection and creative expression. I was paired with the student, Ria Amar and had a wonderful two and half hours with her, who loved talking and painting non-stop ! Loads of love and blessings to her and all the students of @snfdevcenter Thank you @fununartsgroup for this incredible experience.    I must give credit to two of my artist friends whom I reached out to understand the Pop Art and the concept. A big thank you and hug to @friendlyy_trash and @dj.artspeaks @fununartsgroup @snfdevcenter @shibakhanartworks @farahkhan @anjalisinha2k @_i_kreate_ @uaeyearof @asasycmhub   #JoiningHands2026 #ASAS2026 #InclusiveArt #FununArtsGroup #anjalisinha_art by @anjalisinha2k
