@thetuscantable__ turns 3 this month 🐣 It felt right to pass on a sketch I'd made the first time I visited them. Their artisanal bakes have always been a favourite. And year by year, they keep adding to the menu 😋

This year, I was lucky to grab a few seats for their tasting menu. And to my surprise, @joesheril_10 was the one running the kitchen that day 😆 what a happy coincidence!

Overall, a fun day ! Got to see some vintage cars & a cute fluffy pupper 🐶

🌞🪩🍭'Pop Punk' | The Art of rebellion through Pop - A show about Pop Art in India
Curated by : @sun.shine.house

Anjali from Anjimouse has a soft way of looking at people and lets the peacefulness of her craft flow in it. Her art has this lighthearted way of looking at people that makes you want to believe in the brighter side of things. Her art without strongly intending to, is brightly hopeful, whilst being a sweet reminder of going back home to yourself.

We want to invite you to a celebration of the everyday, where we celebrate the art that we take for granted around us, and make it the focus of our attention, making art matter not because it is for itself, but because of its role in your life. We'd like to celebrate you, and the art in our everyday lives. We'd like to celebrate the happiness it brings, and bring more of it to you.

And this? This is your invitation to the celebration.

To Pop Punk, an art show about pop, and rebellion, and happiness.

Celebrating Goethe's 65th year in Chennai with a special illustration! It was featured on exclusive tote bags given to visitors and well-wishers at the event.

Huge thanks to @ninetyeight.madras for the opportunity to be part of the 'Goethe institut × Chennai illustrated' project and @annakatharinainchennai for hosting us at the Institut.

Apart from positive cultural exchange, Goethe has been a generous host for the local arts & culture scene as well, which was the inspiration for this tote design.

Happy to be part of @goetheinstitut_chennai 's milestone day. And looking forward to many more years of cultural exchange and artistic appreciation 😄💚

Gonna be almost a year since I got this PaperType screen protector from @moarmouz. I was initially hesitant to the idea of a matte screen protector since it could damper the touch sensitivity & color output of the Ipad. But thankfully, this screen protector is super thin, it barely makes a difference!

Another huge addition is the installation kit that comes with it. Helped my clumsy self apply it neatly with position stickers & bubble popper cards 🤭

Now coming to the experience itself. I'd worked on ipad close to one year with it's default slippery screen. But putting this up was an instant level up! Sketching felt super natural and it was easier to make lighter & precise strokes with the paper feel.

And bonus : Since this paper-like protector is essentially a matt texture, it reduced the glare on the screen. I could take it out a lot more and sketch outdoors, under sunlight & harsh lighting conditions.

The pack also comes with 2 Apple pencil tips. One default, and one a metal tip, resembling the tip of a gel pen. If this is something you dig, I'd totally recommend checking out @moarmouz website for the pack

[ P.S. although the screen protector doesn't affect the touch sensitivity of the Ipad, I'd still recommend adjusting your sensitivity settings (esp if you're a heavy handed person like me 🤓☝️) to make the screen last a little longer ]

'How much is too much ?'
I always go into the @hindustanonline store barehands hoping it would stop me from buying too much but ofc, nothing goes as planned and I end up with too much in my hands.

The staff are always quick to notice and help me out with a cart. Aside from the extensive collection of art supplies at HTC, I also appreciate the spot-on service provided by the staff. They are super knowledgeable about the ever expanding inventory at the shop.

Check out the Annual Sale where you can grab selected art supplies at 30%-50% off and 20% off on rest of the art supplies 😁 But hurry up!
Tomorrow is the last day!

Happy Shopping Makkale ! 🛍 🎨🖌

Late birthday reel 🥳🎂 and I will be uploading it as a post as well since the sides got cropped 🫠

Have always wanted to make a ‘Meet the Artist’ post but could never get myself to draw my face or put out a definitive version of myself. So here’s a self portrait of a single day. It’s an easier subject to tackle.
