Broken elbow in July. World Championships in September. 🦾➡️🌍

Somehow, I made it to the start line, and raced two World Championship races in three days. 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

1.5km swim • 40km bike • 10km run

This one meant more than just a race. It was months of rehab, setbacks, doubt and determination , and the feeling of crossing that finish line was something else. ❤️

So happy for the incredible support from my family and friends who came over, my Naas Triathlon Club teammates, and the whole Irish squad who raced, supported and cheered each other on. 🇮🇪💚

From broken to World Championships. What a comeback. 🦾🏅🌍

Competed in the Sprint Distance at the World Triathlon Age Group Championships in Pontevedra, Spain 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

750m swim • 20km bike • 5km run

A tough, fast course and an incredible atmosphere from start to finish. Huge thanks to all the family, friends and supporters who cheered me on and helped make the experience so special.

A huge well done to everyone who took part in the World Triathlon Age Group Sprint Championships in Pontevedra, and to all those who came out to support.

A fast, undulating course, incredible crowds, and an atmosphere that won’t be forgotten. The cheers from start to finish gave everyone an extra lift.
Congratulations to all our athletes on representing their clubs, their country, and themselves with pride. 🇮🇪🏊🚴🏃

Pontevedra came alive today for the Parade of Nations 🇮🇪🌍

Flags waving, singing, dancing and athletes from clubs across Ireland coming together behind one flag to proudly represent their country. The energy was incredible!

🌅🔥 Sunset & S’mores Adventure 🔥🌅

We finally got out last night for our Muck, Cairn Sunset & S’mores Hike!

We may not have been treated to the spectacular sunset we were hoping for — just a little flicker of colour — but that certainly didn’t take away from the evening.

A lovely hike up, plenty of craic along the way, and something a little different from our usual daytime adventures. We settled in at the top of the mountain, got the little fire going and enjoyed our s’mores before it was time to switch on the head torches for an exciting night hike back down. 🔥🍫🥾🔦

It was also absolutely brilliant to see Petra back out with us again! ❤️

Sometimes it’s not about the big views or the perfect sunset — it’s simply about getting outdoors, sharing an adventure and enjoying the mountains together.

𝗧𝟭𝟬𝟬 - 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝗸𝗺 🙌

Still absolutely buzzing from the weekend! 🤩

I still can’t quite believe I completed my first middle-distance triathlon, and I absolutely loved every minute of all 104 kilometres. And big shout out to Sam who finished considerably quicker than me to come 4th in his age group!!

🏊 2 km swim
🚴 84 km bike
🏃 18 km run

…all in 27°C heat. Not bad going!

The course was simply incredible. The bike route was something else, with closed roads taking us right through the heart of London. We rode past the Tower of London, along the Thames, past the London Eye, and all the way to the foot of Big Ben before turning to head back towards ExCeL.

The absolute highlight? Turning at Big Ben just as the bells started chiming. It was one of those moments I’ll never forget.

What a day, what an atmosphere, and what an event. Huge thanks to everyone who supported and encouraged us throughout the weekend.
