I visited a Halloween house on the Eastside that I can't stop thinking about..
Giant skeletons, glowing gargoyles, a witch watching from the gate and a spider on the balcony. It's one of the best displays I've seen in Washington.

No address, but if you're near Kirkland it's worth finding. Go at night, park in town and walk. Please stay on public sidewalks, don't block driveways and don't go onto the property.

Send this to the person you'd take on a spooky night walk..

Save it for your Halloween plans..
Comment for the exact location...

After Dashami, there's no visarjan by the water here in the USA. Our volunteers carefully wrap her, lift her and keep her to rest in storage until autumn returns. Most people never see this part. It takes hours, and it's done with the same love as the puja itself.

If you've celebrated Durga Puja away from home, you know there's no leave for school or office, so we celebrate on weekends, Pandal hopping becomes one hall, Bhog on paper plates still tastes like home.
This is what keeping a culture alive looks like thousands of miles from where it started.

This is Uttoron Seattle's Pujo. 🙏

Maa has arrived, and the festive spirit is everywhere.

Draped in an Ikkat Pochampally and a Gadwal saree from @joyee.kolkata , two weaves, two states, two stories.

Shubho Pujo to all 🌸🤍✨

A humble attempt to capture a little of Maa's divine beauty in my own way.
I may not have the perfect brushstrokes or the most flawless lines, but every detail of this artwork was drawn with love, patience and devotion.
May Maa Durga bless us all with strength, happiness, love, and the courage to overcome every obstacle 🙏

Shubho Sharodiya! Happy Pujo, y'all! ❤️🪷

I did WildPlay's MistRider zipline on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls and it's genuinely the most insane 60 seconds I've experienced — 2,200 feet across the gorge, launching from 220 feet up, hitting 40+ mph straight toward the Horseshoe Falls.

Huge thank you to @getyourguide and @getyourguidecommunity for sponsoring this and making it happen — if Niagara Falls is anywhere on your list, this needs to be too.
📍 WildPlay Niagara Falls, Niagara Parkway, Ontario, Canada
