TBT:
Project- Social- Dehradun,Uttarakhand

Audio Consultancy, Systems Design & Integration

The first SOCIAL outlet in Dehradun is the most exciting and contemporary, yet respectfully has traditional elements as well. It is a total deviation from technological distractions that would otherwise digitalize the young generation, featuring wooden tables and chairs in which children can revel in their childhood memories. The pillar of the city which has aged with pride over the years has been rejuvenated in SOCIAL’s hyperlocal design that boasts of creatively reconstructed use of bunk beds for seating, advertisement boards of menus on notice boards with sprinkles of humor, and a court section for live music concerts. The massive outlet certainly is one of the most attractive places because of the stunning view of Mussoorie that can be seen from it.

TBT Mixed Compilation: DEEP DISH – YOSHIESQUE TWO

This week’s feature is mixed compilation CD I bought in a Stockholm record store way back in 2001
.
“Yoshiesque Two” is a mixed compilation CD by the renowned DJ duo Deep Dish, released in 2001. Labeled as Westcoast & Eastcoast this two-disc set continues the journey from their first “Yoshiesque” compilation, blending a variety of electronic music genres including deep house, progressive house, and techno.
The compilation with its seamless mixing feat acapellas and the duo’s ability to create a cohesive and engaging listening experience that captures the essence of the late 90s and early 2000s electronic music scene.
