still taking in how incredible this day was. had the opportunity to speak on all things video and creators (plus a joke or two) in front of an incredible community of south asians. not the doctors, lawyers, and engineers everyone associates us with. but the artists, actors, business owners, designers, stylists, creatives, and so many other things that we can ALSO be. as the first one in my entire family to step foot into the entertainment space, and be asked to speak on a panel with so many amazing people, I felt hella grateful to be seen and also realize I’m not alone. the community is strong 🤝🏽

big shoutout to my team @zinniabukhari @kimberwarren @rabiahdamji @surabhis and to @browngirlmag @slashieconnects for putting together such an amazing event.

my mentor @toda once told me part of building equity is busting open doors for people that look like us — here’s to doing just that and with a smile on.

first all star in the books. 🏀💫 so great connecting with homies new and old, meeting legends, and even more special to do it back home in LA. big love to our partners @suaysewshop and @nikebasketball for bringing @lecourt.co into the mix, and @myles.tho for bringing it all together 🪡.
