This note is for my dear dog JASPHER, who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈🐾. 1st July 2018 to ♾️

Along with the tears because I miss you so much, there’s also a little peace in my heart because I know you’re finally free from pain. I like to imagine you running across fresh green grass with your new doggo friends, sniffing everything with your little pink nose. ❤️

Even though I know you always enjoyed your “me time,” I hope you’re not sitting alone in a corner watching the others play. Go run, jump, and make everyone chase you, just like you used to at home.

I miss watching you leap from the couch to every room with endless energy. I miss you pulling at my clothes just to make me play with you or take you outside. I miss the way you’d complain to Mom with your puppy eyes and little scratches, as if saying, “Papa says he’s tired and won’t take me for another walk,” even though you’d already been out with your brother, Akshit.

I still remember the exact moment I brought you home. My innocent boy. You know, I used to wonder, “What if you ever got lost?” So I searched every little part of you and found that tiny mark just under your tongue. That became my little secret way of knowing I’d always find you. ❤️

I left home just two days before you went away. Deep down, I knew I probably wouldn’t get to see you again, but I wasn’t ready for goodbye. That thought still hurts more than words can say.

You would always nudge my laptop away, asking me to stop everything and just pet you. And I always did. Those quiet moments we shared, our little heart-to-heart conversations, will stay with me forever.

I miss you more than you’ll ever know. But I promise I won’t let my tears outweigh the beautiful memories, because I know you would never want your family to be in pain.

Run free, my beautiful boy. Thank you for choosing us, for loving us unconditionally, and for being my guardian angel. You’ll always have a home in my heart.
