My research and writing was presented at the inaugural @anthropology.cyprus conference!

Last September, amidst the annual and absurd UN negotiations for the Cyprus problem, I set out to discover how the endless futures we imagine for Cyprus can be enacted in the present. To no surprise, queer sociality had a bold and effective proposition, which formed the basis of my project. Through its ephemerality, queerness could loosen “border” lines with performance, partying, and an embrace of failure generating new affects of possibility time and time again.

Thank you @queerwavecyprus, @queercollectivecy, @kara_karagoza, @yaelnavaro for challenging me gracefully, and all those who showed me that the future is too far to wait for 🤍

Fetchish was on the road (again) last week — straight to Cambridge Union (looks that we arw following the steps of Pamela Anderson and Jordan Peterson) for a debate on underground culture, club and clout.

We filmed the Cambridge debrief and our friends there. Carpe diem.

Massive thank you to the Cambridge team for hosting us, and to everyone who came! ♠️
