Might be time for a bigger cup... mine's quite full!

Last June, in the midst of immense boredom and an unshakeable feeling of stagnation, I decided to run away from home heheh whoopsies 🤸‍♀️
And now, just over a year later, my choice to uproot my cushy, comfy life and live on the road has become the best, most rewarding thing I've ever done with and for just myself.
In the past 13 months, I've visited 28 states, 4 Canadian provinces, one tiny village in Mexico, and 18 national parks - all while working my full-time "desk" job (I've gotten creative with the "desk" part). I've discovered that a 10-mile hike followed by a crispy pint is my ideal way to spend a Saturday. I've driven the entirety of hwy 1. I got a tattoo of one of my favorite photos to date. I reconnected with old friends I hadn't seen in years. I made new friends in complete strangers. I pushed myself in ways I didn't know I could, and I'm still here doing it!!
I've lived a year of sunsets, rainbows, introspection, solitude, bug bites, sore calves, big rocks, cold lakes, dancing alone, singing in the trees, frolicking, and falling. And I've amassed so many memories I can hardly keep them all in.

So if you're feeling stuck and need a reminder - find a way to do all the things you want to do, especially the things people say are crazy, even if it means doing them alone <3

Some situations deserve the respect of cracking a cold one at sunrise. This was definitely one of them.

I summited Mount Whitney!!! The tallest peak in the contiguous US, standing at 14,505 ft. My first 14er and backpacking trip!
