I wove a traditional Welsh Border Fan. It is traditionally made from the last stalks of the harvest. The Welsh Border Fan is traditionally given as a home blessing to hang on the wall or doorway. It was believed to bring protection throughout the winter and ensure the prosperity of the new crop in spring, once the grain had been sown again.
This is my first attempt, made from unripe ears of grain because I couldn’t wait. I’ll make another one when the harvest is ready. by @anna.lenawolfrum

The 25 Hours Candle is made from a three-meter-long wax strand, carefully woven into its distinctive shape.
I first discovered this type of candle in a painting, and it immediately captured my attention. Fascinated by its unique form and history, I decided to bring this nearly forgotten craft back through @cuvee.obj .
The raw material comes from one of the last remaining makers of traditional wax strands. She sources her wax from local beekeepers and spins the wax-coated wicks using a historically reconstructed machine. I then refine the material and hand-weave each candle with great care and dedication to craftsmanship.
To use the candle, simply unroll it and light the wick. Through its remarkable length, it provides up to 25 hours of candlelight. by @anna.lenawolfrum

From prototypes to product.
A small wall shelf, designed to make special objects visible – a cup, a souvenir, or a favorite piece. It hangs on a single nail like a framed picture, subtly drawing attention to the item it holds.

The “One Thing Shelf“ emerged from the idea of giving special objects more attention. Objects that often get lost among many others on large shelfes.

Crafted from local larch, with a visible grain that gives each shelf its own character.

Spatial Design for @stammtisch.editions which I created together with @marcus.goetschl and @moritzgaeckle
Graphic Design: @aureliasophie @lilianonstenk

Stammtisch Editions is a group of designers based in Munich. For the exhibition at @munichdesigndays objects were developed in collaboration with @kvadrattextiles

The term “Stammtisch” describes a sociable group of people who meet regularly in pubs to exchange and spend time together. To reference this cultural bavarian context, the exhibition design also incorporates traditional objects associated with it.
Due to the short duration of the exhibition, special attention was paid to resource conservation. The plinths were constructed using cardboard tubes previously used for rolls by the meter. These are typically discarded but have been given a second life within the exhibition design. When layered, they create structures reminiscent of traditional bamboo furniture. The plinth tops also come from a previous use and were refurbished and lacquered for the exhibition.
A natural sisal floor, combined with environment friendly wall paints, creates a warm, domestic atmosphere.

Bloc is a mobile trolley for office and home, designed for the organized storage of everyday essentials.
The object was created for the @stammtisch.editions exhibition in cooperation with @kvadrattextiles and @munichdesigndays

The design is based on the idea of transforming an almost two-dimensional, flat piece of fabric into a three-dimensional form without the use of additional volume-building materials.
The textile is tensioned as a continuous loop over stainless steel rods, forming the clear, box-like structure. Each compartment rotates smoothly on a side-mounted axle, allowing contents to be accessed with ease. Castors on the underside provide flexible placement, making the trolley a versatile companion for everyday use.
