I discovered Monkey Safari in 2016.
My German boyfriend at the time introduced me to so many amazing artists and opened up a whole new world of music for me.
I don’t go out much these days. I usually go when something really special is on — and Monkey Safari @mayabrisbane definitely was. 🥹
My first proper outing since June, and what a way to come back.
Towards the end, Sven played “Safe” — my favourite — and honestly, it was for my soul. 💖
I had told him earlier: “If you don’t play Safe, I can’t say I’ve seen you play!”
Monkey Safari and I come from the same generation, my millennial heart is so happy 🫶💗

Saw this trend and wanted to make my own version too!!

My mom and my dad are definitely my biggest fans and support and they even keen to participate in my endeavours 💖

Happy Monday guys ☀️
Here’s more snippets from the 6+h rave with Peru the other week 🎶🎶🎶

I’m working on exciting stuff at the moment. Stay tuned 💖

Little throwback to meeting @victorruizdj in Byron Bay. His set was 🔥☄️🧯🔥

I actually did a mentorship program with @lvrmentoring a couple of years ago, where I had the chance to share my music and received such kind feedback from him.

Love how things come full circle… from online mentorship moments to meeting in real life.

After the event, I ended up meeting some beautiful humans — and suddenly we were five, hanging out like best friends on a beach cliff 🌊✨

There’s something so powerful about creating a safe space with another woman…
and just letting the music take over.

What started as a little session turned into a 6h 45min journey.

6+ hours playing non-stop, only two quick breaks…
flow state fully activated.

At one point we went all the way up to 160bpm —
and then softened back down.

I ended up playing my own tracks for nearly 3 hours…
and that felt really special.

These are the moments that feel like home 💖🎶💖

Went to see Faithless the other week… and honestly, one of the best gigs I’ve experienced in a long time.

Seeing a woman behind the decks carrying such a legacy — creating timeless rave anthems like “Insomnia” — made it even more powerful.

The moment “God Is The DJ” started playing, something just cracked open in me.

Tears.
Not sadness — release.

Not many DJs can take me there.

Last time I remember feeling that was at Revolver Upstairs in Melbourne, holding onto the cage while @andhim_music were playing so gently and beautifully.

That kind of music that moves through your body… and takes something with it. by @anna.lipsne

Went to support my housemate’s birthday set at Balcony Beats in Mullumbimby…

One moment he says:
“Can you hold the decks? I need to pee.”

So naturally I dropped some delicious techno for 15 minutes 😆

Not exactly the usual vibe for that space — but the dancefloor seemed very ready for it.

Sometimes the best sets are the unexpected ones.

Slide 2 - how I pump myself up these days to go out 🤣🎶🎶🎶

If God was a Dj it is Chicane… my childhood dreams came true. I met the person who changed my childhood with the most beautiful sounds (I was huge Bryan Adams fan as a kid and then discovered his collab song with Chicane in 2000 when I was 11 on German channel VIVA and instantly felt in love) 🥹
He took me to the heavens above and made my heart sing 🪽🎶💖

You know how hard it is to lose a pet 🥹🐶

Last year around this time, I was in Western Australia releasing Cobba’s ashes back to nature. I was completely lost without him. I wasn’t playing gigs. I wasn’t producing music. I felt paused.

But I was still creating.

Little DJ journeys, filmed in wild and beautiful locations. No stage. No crowd. Just me, the land, and sound moving through grief.

Looking back, I realise those sets were medicine.
A way to keep my heart open while it was breaking.

Grief changes the rhythm — but it doesn’t stop the music.

If you’d like to witness that chapter, the full set is on my YouTube — link in bio.

My heart is so full 🌻
Last night was special 🥹💖
Seeing @mosemusica live at his first gig in Australia felt surreal.

I discovered his music during the Victoria lockdowns — living in the countryside, dancing for hours at the beach with my dog, letting the sound carry me through a very quiet chapter of life.

In 2021, I sent Mose my own music productions. He wrote back saying my music was beautiful, a little too techno for his label — and that he was genuinely happy to see a female producer creating in such a male-dominated world. That encouragement stayed with me.

To witness him live years later felt full circle.
@murraykylemusic - your voice absolutely blew me away.
And @bruna.bortolato led the most beautiful cacao ceremony, opening the space with so much tenderness and presence 🤍
A special treat to witness @deyadova join for a magical collaboration 🪄🎶
