My second trip to New york may have beat my first! I saw my favorite musical and gained a few more favorites. I met even more super cool people and a really cool dog. Most importantly I celebrated my 16th birthday with my best friend in the whole world. @grace.mcdo

The first show i saw was Spelling Bee. I just played Marcy, so watching the show i was in for the first time was really exciting! The whole cast was so funny!

The second show i saw was the outsiders. This has been my favorite musical since it came out. The cast was amazing and I am still stuck on how amazing the vocal dynamics were this time around. I was so close to the front i could hear every word and see their faces!

On my third day, I saw Hadestown and Lost Boys. I was super excited to see Amber Iman because every time ive heard her voice online it blew me away. Seeing her in person was out of this world. I went in completely blind and after hearing the songs once I am now in love. It was also insane seeing @jasminsavoy in the playbill evem though I couldnt see her because she's one of my favorite actors ever!!

The final show I saw was Lost Boys. Lost boys is probably tied for my favorite musical now. The whole show itself has so much energy and crazy twists and turns. The music was also so good! The harmonies were so good that I want to learn every part and find a way to sing it all myself! by @anna.rhoads.10

🌟🎹BEAUTIFUL🎹🌟

I cant believe my first show at the benedum is already over!! this experience was like nothing ive ever done before and I loved every moment of it. I already miss everyone so much!! I made so many great friends and learned so much from everyone around me. Carole king is such and inspiring artist, so it was a privilege to take part in telling her story. A VERY deserved Amber Ardolino appreciation post. Amber has been a huge inspiration to me for years and years now and is one of the reasons I really started to get into theater. Without her content and influence, im not sure if I'd be here pursuing musical theater today. She has been nothing but kind and supportive throughout the whole process of creating this show. It is an honor to be able to say I know Amber and have worked with her. Honestly, I'm still in shock that I had the privilege to be a part of something so amazing with someone who is so talented and kind. I am so thankful for everything she's taught me and for all the help and advice she's given me. the experience as a whole was better than I could even imagine. Thank you SO much, Amber!

Everyone is making spelling bee posts so I of course have to as well. I usually don't post for summer camps, but this one was different because I got my first lead! Playing Marcy was a dream and I had so much fun with her character. I love this show so much and I really hope I can do it again someday! by @anna.rhoads.10

New York City was the perfect way to end my summer and go into high school! I loved it so much and I already want to go back! I talked to some of the coolest people I think I've ever met, watched a squirrel eat a metal sign, and watched two favorite shows in real life! I need to go back soon!!! by @anna.rhoads.10

Two months ago I took class from @tilly_ek and learned the choreography to green light from @johnproctorbway ! I had the time of my life and I really hope I can do it again! I still think about this almost every day. Taking class from my favorite dancer on broadway is and will always be a core memory! Thank you Tilly for the best night ever! by @anna.rhoads.10

I learned a dance from the outsiders for international dance day! I took a few days to get it as good as it's could by the end of the week! This is my favorite musical right now and I had so much fun learning it!!

Weekend one of oliver is over, and it was so fun! The first show was amazing, I got to be with all of my friends and perform for so many people! Day two I didn't know as many people in the audience but I still had the best time. Today, I woke up and my voice was completely gone, so I couldn't go on today. Next weekend is all we have left!
